Hello.
Is the sound card is add-on or onboard? if it is add on card you need to identify the model of the sound card. and if it is onboard sound card then please tell me the model of the motherboard.

anyway you can find driver here: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=M2N8-VMX

please install all the driver available in series.

My computer dont have any sound. i try to install adobe flash player but it seems wrong, now im downloading samsung sound driver but still no sound,i cant hear any sound from it.please help me.

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer dont forget to vote
hope this helps

No sound output

You'll want to verify that the onboard audio is enabled within the bios first, beyond that the audio codecs for that mobo should be the Realtek AC97 drivers, go to this link to obtain them. You have a choice of two - the AC97 standard codecs or the HD codecs (I would probably try the HD codecs first). I would also be curious as to whether the audio hardware is showing up in the device manager at all (especially if it has the yellow exclamation point next to it).

Based on what you posted about a bios update being the catalyst I would definitely check the onboard audio enabled within the bios option first...

Please post a little more info (especially about what the device manager says) or your results from the reinstall of the AC97 drivers...

Audio too fast

GX 150? GX 50 is not on their support site. If it really is 50 and not 150 try sound drivers for models 1 or for 100or even the 150? Can't hurt to try.  Failing to get a proper driver; just purchase an inexpensive sound card. and put it into you computer.

Sound card problems

Hey Sue, first thing you need to do is press delete when you first switch the pc on to get into the bios, and under usually intergrated deviced, disable the old onboard sound, and save the settings, load windows normally go into control panel, system, device manager, double click on any sound related devices that has a yellow tag next to it, and click on update drivers, make sure you have the cd in the drive, and let it search the cd for the drivers, do it for each device with yellow tag and then it should work. All the best John
