If you are using internet explorer as your browser, I suggest you use mozilla firefox or chrome because internet explorer usually has some issues with websites like yahoomail.com...
Once you have opened the above link, you can enter www.yahoo.com in the text field shown on the web page and click on Browse button next to it. Viola! you should be able to surf any website that is blocked by your company firewall. You can then login to the Yahoo mail from there.
If the www.httpsurf.com itself is blocked at your office network then you can simply google on the internet for some other online proxy websites. You should be able to find lots of other website like www.hidemyass.com , http://zend2.com/
This issue is beacuse of blocking yahoo in ur office network by administrator.You better that person. Trying to unblock that may cause major problem to your job...
When it comes to password to login to an email account at yahoo / yahoomail, it does not matter how mnay times an incorrect password is entered, the email account will not be blocked.
What is happening, is that you are entering an incorrect email ID and/or password, and hence this is why you are unable to access your yahoo email account.
The only option is to click on the "Forgotten password" link on the yahoo mail's login page and then you will have to answer the security questions / answers, that you had set up againnst your yahoomail account, if these details match, then you can reset / recover your password, if these do not match, then, to be honest with you, nothing further can be done.
try doing this and tell me if this works.

Mr. Vidya the problem mentioned by you can be solved by resetting your browser. To reset the internet explorer follow these steps:
1>click on start
2> select run
3>In the run box type -> inetcpl.cpl
4>You will get the internet properties window
5> select programmes tab and click on reset
6>select advanced tab and click on restore defaults
