I think the problem is not the computer. You shoud check the plotter by running the test print without the computer. When plotter's power is on, press Setup and Cancel keys simultaneously. If it does not print, then the plotter need repair.
According to your descriptions, there is System Error Code shown on your control panel. when the lights on for Ready+Cartridges+Data (DKL), it may have 9 possible causes referred by Service Manual page 2-7. You can check all these 9 items to see which one causes the problem.
