I live in a 2001 mobile home and my heater won't come on. It was turned way down like to 50 because it was warming up, but now it's cold again and I can't get it to even ignite. Any suggestions? Please Help!

It is a Coleman DGAT075BDF and I don't think the pilot lights. Although I was able to get it to come on once after I flipped the on/off switch inside the unit. Thank you for you expertise and any advise.

It appears this is an electronic ignition model, although the info available to me currently, is minimal, so I guess I need to ask, Was gas supply off recently to this furnace, and did you follow step by step lighting instructions on cover, or in your manual? Reason I ask, is sometimes it will take quite a while before air in line has been purged, before it will ignite. Also did you check any limit switches that may have tripped. They usually have a small red push button in center, or a pinlike object sticking up in between 2 wires connected to it. With power off, just push in on any you see to make sure they are reset. Does it have a flue motor that starts up , down low on the right, before trying to start, on that particular furnace?

Electrical problem please help yamaha r6 2001

Hi, Jason I used to live in Marlow Co. Buckinghamshire back in the day now I'm retired living in Florida yep-yep you need a wiring diagram, forget about finding the source of the problem unless you have nothing better to do, instead splice in a separate wire from the turn signal module/flasher to the indicator light in the speedometer also you may need a load equalizer for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. I just noticed that my hot water heater that is 6 years old is dripping very slowly from the bottom faucet, how can i stop this leak. thank you.

If you mean the drain valve, then buy garden hose cap at home center.
Cap will have rubber washer that seals tank.
If drain valve is plastic, the cap may not thread on without sanding down end of plastic drain valve.
Otherwise replace drain valve, which is simple if drain valve is brass, but can be difficult if drain valve is plastic.
Turn off power to water heater: Electric: turn off circuit breaker. Gas: turn knob to pilot.
Turn off water, open bathtub spigot on Hot side, drain water heater, remove drain valve with wrench.
If plastic drain valve breaks while being removed, then 'gently' break out broken part using hammer and big screwdriver.
Buy new drain valve at box store in water heater department.
Put teflon tape on new drain valve threads.

New Rheem electric 50 gallon not heating

Check the elements, if you have access to a meter to check them. If they are getting power to elements and you have no hot water.
The elements are not working correctly. I had some elements check out ok till the thermostat's turned on and the elements didn't heat.
Sounds like the elements are bad.

We have a leaking water heater.

As far as a shut off valve on to the water heater, if there is one you should be able to see it on the water line going to the heater. This is not common in mobile homes. If there is not one I would strongly recomend you install one when you replace the heater. If it is going to be a while before you replace the heater you might consider draining it and cutting into the inlet line and installing a shut off valve, so you can turn the house water back on. I hope this helps.

My mother has a Ultra Flex Inter Therm Model # 431900 heater in her mobile home. Last night she had it set on 65' but it ran & ran until it got up to 80' It will not shut off! It will not turn off even...

If you remove the furnace doors, and find where the thermostat wires come in, leave the breaker off, and disconnect the thermostat wires at the furnace. Turn the breaker back on, if it doesn't run, then you have a short somewhere in the wall, in the thermostat wire.
If this is the case, then the best thing to do, is to re-run the thermostat wire to a closer location.
The moblie homes, older ones, use thermostat wires that are not encased in a plastic cover, and they use metal staples in the wall to secure the wire, so they can short through the wires, and making contact,,, this turns on the furnace.
If the furnace continues to run,,, it is a control issue in the furnace it's self and you will need a repairperson.
If this helps please rate the new guy :)
Thank you ,
