That depends if the knobs or the shafts are broken.the knobs are easily replaced as they just pull off. the controls is a different problem as they are soldered into the pc board.the input selector switch will have alot of pins and the bass and treble 6 pins each.the front panel has to be removed, the lock nuts taken out and sometimes the input selector has a small pc board that is wired to the main pc on a connector, and the replacement comes with the pc board.the parts can be got from sony parts or an authorized repair depot.unless you are really good with electronics,it is best left to a pro to fix,the power supply in that unit runs on over 100 volts dc

How do you adjust the bass levels on a Yamaha HTR6130 receiver? I can get the display to show Bass 0db, but what button changes the settings?

When you touch tone button on your front panel repeatedly, you will get two option for setting bass and trebble, when you select Bass immediatly press your updown Sound field Program Button.
Please note:for better sound if your using Small front speaker keep bass to 0db and select the low frequency through sub woofer and program manually LFE from only Sub woofer and addjust CUT off frequency of Subwoofer to 160 and incase if your bass is not clear put it into rev mode.

On an eq, the level farthest left is for bass. Then all the way right is for trebble.

Bass control knob broke off, what di I do?

You don't list the brand, but you can buy replacement knobs for many brands from http://www.pacparts.com/. Note that while the parts are very reasonably priced, you may end up paying $12 shipping for a $1 knob. If it doesn't have to be a matching knob, you may be able to find one that will fit on a radio at a yard sale or junk yard. Another possibility is to try Radio Shack. http://www.radioshack.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=knob&origkw=knob&sr=1

How do I adjust the trebble on my Denon Receiver?

go to sound parameter in your parameter menu under the setup. There should be a tone control option, when there you can adjust the bass and treble by a variable decibel range. the range is -14db to 14db.

BASS,TREBBLE,MIDS SETTING

Hello 1rocknroller,

Press the mode button repeatedly to select BASS, TREBLE, SUBW, BALANCE, FADER, DEFEAT, AND VOLUME. When subwoofer mode is set to off, it's level cannot be adjusted. If DEFEAT is set to ON, the player returns to factory defaults. Turn the volume control to adjust the setting. If no adjustment is made within 5 seconds after selecting, the player returns to normal mode.

Hope this helps.

Bose home theater

It may not have bass and treble controls, since most newer TV's now have these adjustments. Play around with your TV and see if you can find bass and treble adjustments from the remote.
