Question about Yahoo Mail

1 Answer

There doesn't seem to be a fast way to get to yahoo mail.

I have comcast, but when I go into google and ask for yahoo mail; there is not an easy choice that directs me to my e-mail code. It seems to just loop around sending me all over with other questions.

In your browser, enter into the URL field https://login.yahoo.com/ to sign in.

BEFORE you sign in, create a bookmark using the bookmark menu and put it in the menu bar at the top of your browser. Then you can get to the above address with a single click. There are free applications that will let you create logins so that you don't have to memorize all your passwords. Do NOT use the same password for more than one login.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Return back to YAHOO MAIL CLASSIC

When you sign into your mail account, click on Options on the right hand side. Click Switch to Mail Classic.

This should restore Classic Mail for you. Such a simple fix although Yahoo doesn't make it easy for people to find.

Hello, I have changed to the new yahoo mail and i don't like it. Please indicate to me how I revcert to the old version.

Recently there was an option called "Return to Original Mail!" under the "Help" menu, but now it's no longer available and there seem to be no other options other than disabling the Firefox javascript from firefox settings.
Before you login, open Firefox click "Tools" and then "Options" and select "Content", from there, click "Disable Javascript" click "Apply" or "Ok" to save the changes made and restart your Firefox. Now to to Yahoo!Mail and login, once you are signed, you'll be prompted whether you would like to go to Yahoo! Mail classic or not, or you may be asked to enable Javascript to run the page, carefully check the warnings or message and do whatever you think would open the Mail Classic, if it's related to javascript, proceed without the Javascript, this will open your mail is Classic Mail (I have mentioned two example warnings because they both will show up or one of them will definitely show up). Now you are in Yahoo! Mail Classic version, and it's been set, means you have returned to Yahoo! Mail Classic. Whenever you login through another browser eg. Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, it will remain as it is now.
Note: This method doesn't work with Internet Explorer 8 and 9 and Google Chrome.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

I cant access my compose mail feature.

Yahoo is going through some changes and updating.
Your browser is most likely out of date.

Yahoo has been suggesting users upgrade to ensure a fast, secure, and reliable Yahoo! Mail experience

It is fast, and easy and free.

Just look for that notice as you try to log in, follow the on screen instructions and you'll be emailing again before too long.

Hope this helps

Good Luck

I cant access to my email

Hi,

Try these backdoor, they let you work with some basic mail functions.

http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail
http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail?tsrc=rawfro
http://de.m.yahoo.com/p/mail

If you can't get in that way either, go to this link where you are told exactly what to do in case your password doesn't work or you forgot it:

https://edit.yaho.com/config/eval_forgot

If that doesn't work either, your account may have been hacked or deleted. In case of a hacked account send a mail describing your problem to account-security- help@cc.yahoo.inc.com. If this doesn't help, call yahoo 1-408-349-1572, explain to a customer service person what happened. They will ask you to do certain things and then they compare your original info with the changed info. Within 24 hours you should get your account back.

Thanking you

For weeks at a time off and on, I can't access my yahoo mail. I am connected to the internet thru comcast cable. My email address is mimipentz@yahoo.com.

1. Make sure that there's no FireWall enabled in your computer.
2. Try connecting another computer to the same network where your computer is connected to and then access your Yahoo mail.
3. If same problem occurs using different computer that is connected to the same network, run a path ping or trace route in the command prompt for Yahoo to see if there's a network issue.

You need to ask for assistance from a network admin to understand the result of the trace route. In the result of the trace route, if you find a "timed out" in the network, then there's a problem between Comcast and Yahoo.

Have a great day!

I just purchased the email name ''TheBankDoctor.Net'' for my business. I have a Comcast email and one with Yahoo, but was hoping to set this up independently of those company's. Please advise.

I think you're referring to a domain name, right? if you want email addresses like user@thebankdoctor.net, I recommend google apps, go to http://www.google.com/a . they will have step by step instructions for setting up email services. Yahoo may do this service for you, but if so, they will definately charge a fee. Google's service can be free.

Yahoo mail is VERY slow

I am a Computer Software Expert. I believe that Yahoo! has lately made silly mistakes in their Yahoo! Mail in software/hardware side. The Mail is extremely slow even I have a super computer. This problem is Yahoo! Mail's problem; it has nothing to do with your PC as anyone uses it will suffer nowadays. In the past, it was nice and fast. Now it is Yahoo! Garbage Mail, so they should change the name!
