When I make a cup of coffee, 1/2 of the water goes into the cup to make coffee and the other half goes into the drip tray... coffee is not very good because of this problem... bitter and strong.

I've cleaned the entire machine and descaled... to no avail.

Klicking is the gears. Klick Klick Klick is the machine skipping gear spots and trying to recover.

Needs new gears.

Could also be the main boards going bad since the board controls the brew drive and the gear system.

Its one of the two. If it is the board, saeco cannot fix it and they do not have replacements. They stopped carrying them about 6 months ago.

My Saeco Royal displays Dreg Drawer full after about 3-4 cups of coffee. i have cleaned the drawer. where do i find the Dreg drawer sensor to clean it.

hi,
this is normal as there is no switch or sensor. In fact the Royal as well as the Magic and others are counting the number of coffees that you have made between two removals of the dreg drawer. For this counter to reset, you have to remove the dreg drawer while the machine is ON, and remove it for about 10s minimum.
Retry and tell me if it is better.
Hope that helps,
M.

I have a Saeco Odea Go and my puck in the dreg drawer are really wet and I have water leaking (brown so with coffee) under the dreg drawer. how I can fix it ?

I recently had this problem. I throughly cleaned and lubricated the brew group as directed by the manual. Apparently if the brew group doesn't move smoothly enough it won't grind the correct amount of beans. Try lubricating and then brewing 2-3 cups to have the machine recalibrate the grind amount.

I keep getting a message that says dreg drawer missing what is this? is this where the cup sits when it is getting filled? coz i have taken it out and put it back hundreds of times

The dreg draw is the little draw where the coffee pucks are released to after they've been use.

Typically if this message stays on even though the draw is in place indicates a bad microswitch.

doesn't cost much to get fixed, but i would take it in to a service center as it is a little rough to get to.

Dregs Drawer filling up with water

Hi,

If this comes into the dregs drawer then you have to look at your brewing unit, if it comes to the drip tray, then it´s normal

Bought new machine yesterday.says ventilate which i did, then jumps to dregs drawer full, which is empty and clean what can i do now?

Are you still having the ventilate sign come on? If so, let hot water run out for 10-15 sec.
On the dregs drawer full message- carefully put back the dump box -making sure it slides in right. This happened to me the first time until I figured it out how to carefully put it back. If it is not in all the way, it will keep giving you that message.

Dregs light stays on (even when emptied!) - can't use machine

the various lights are controlled by either magnets that hit various sensors or microswitches.

the dreg light i'm pretty sure is a microswitch.

Its pretty common for them to go out, they're standard in almost all super automatic machines.

that particular switch is a pain in the **** to get to. You can order them direct from saeco, but if you can, it may be easier to send it out.

There should be a microswitch for the grind box, for the drip tray, for the water tank, and there should be one if i remember right for the grinder.

Its different for each model.

Hope this helps.

Tray and Dregs light flash when machine turns on

You can't make the light go out because the dreg drawer, brewing unit and drip tray, all activate micro switches when they are inserted. One or more of the micro switches have gone open circuit, or they may just be dirty or clogged with coffee granules. You can only fix this problem by opening the machine up.
The light goes out when contact is made with the micro switch. No contact made, no light goes out.
