The regulator that comes with Weber grills shuts the gas flow off if it detects the slightest leak. Disconnect the tank an reconnect. Check connections with soapy water for any leaks. Another problem, though uncommon for a new grill is a defective regulator. You have a 1 year warrenty on your grill so contact Weber if you continue to have problems.

Weber Spirit 210 Won't Get Hot

Try following these steps to reset your FLD (flow limiting device)http://www.edyoungs.com/edyoungs/troubleshoot_tank.htm and then carefully follow the lighting instructions. If it works for you I think you will find this is a GREAT grill! Happy grilling and eating!

Bought this grill in june/july. first tank worked perfect. tank went out while cooking. changed to new tank and lit her up. low flame and went out. looked at tank and found the valve and hose covered...

turn off gas at tank remove hose let it deforst , open all burners on bbq run out gas in line , turn off burners, reconnect tank turn on slow , check hose for leaks with washing up liqued and water mix make bubbles with this mix and brush over joints this will prove if you have a gas leak (hence the frosting ) if this is good no leak then you should be able to light burners , if this leaks then it could be a new hose.

My 2 year old weber E-210 gas grill does light. I replaced the igniter, but I do not hear any propane gas being sent to the .I have also tried to manullay light it with a match, and nothing. HELP!

If you have recently bought a new propane tank you may have gotten a bad one. Try taking it back to the store and asking for an exchange. The valves go bad inside the tanks sometimes.

My weber spirit 310 igniter will not work. It does not click or make a spark. I have changed the battery. I did notice that the battery chamber was very corroded so I cleaned it out but still no click....

I suspect that the corrosion you found has taken it's toll. You will need to replace the the ignitor box.
if it's still under warranty, Weber may cover it. Either way, you can get the part from Weber on line. Make sure you have your Model #, Serial # of the Grill and the date and proof of purchase.

New Tank won't light Weber Grill

Try checking the regulator, this is the round metal piece connected to the gas line. If this is not level flat the valve inside will not let propane flow through.

The heat on m Weber grill would not go above 250 degrees even when the grill was lit for 30+ minutes. I changed the gas supply hose and regulator & fixed the problem. The next time I used the grill...

The new style OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow
Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problem
IF not you might want to remove the cap (white) on your regulator and try slowly adjusting the regulator, make small adjustments and try the BBQ My Weber if I set the front and back burners to MED I get right at 350 degrees in 60 degree outdoor temps. Adjusting the regulator will take some time to get it right but If it is not your tank it is most likely your regulator out of adjustment

It sounds like the regulator is shutting down and preventing the grill from getting all of the propane it needs. to remedy your problem disconnect the tank and then reconnect it. Usually that is all it takes to get the regulator to work properly. If the problem continues just get a new hose with regulator attached.
