One of the tabs on the bottom of the drop panel (the lower metal door that folds out) is bent incorrectly. Try bending it a little which every direction is needed to close the drop panel.

Do not break it, there are no replacement parts for that brand.

The dryer will start and then shut off apparently randomly and need to be restarted

Most likely it's the door switch. Start it then pull around the edge of the door and see if it stops. A plastic or metal tab may need to be bent back into shape or the switch is coming loose behind the door panel.

Here's something that might help you. Look at the door theres a little hook that grabs the striker on car, hold the door handle "open" and move the hook to the open position try to close the door. That should solve your problem. Hope that helps you.

Rear door lock is making a horrible noise when it locks

most likely either a bent door locking rod or a bad acuator, you'll need to have that door panel removed to find out door shutting all the way?nothing obstructing the door from properly closing? is the door locking slide switch in panel blocked in someway?try locking it manually to see how it feels, does it have free travel back and forth? if not then that panel will have to be removed to find the problem. hope this helps!!

The refridgerator door won't seal propertly. We

It could be a bad seal or the door could be sprung without seeing it it is hard to tell. Check the hinges make sure door is properly attached. If it appears to be sprung try pulling on the top of door and pushing on bottom to spring it back into place.... Just not too hard.

I installed a new magnetic seal on my Amana refrigerator. The new seal has been sitting in its box for about ten years. After installation, I realize it has lost its magnetism. Can I rejuvenate it somehow?

No. Never heard of this happening. Make sure that the door stop at the bottom hinge is not bent and keeping the door from shutting all the way. I've seen this alot. Also, if you soak the gasket in hot water for 15 minutes or so, it will soften it up and lay flat when you install it.

The door is bent a bit and now won't shut right unless slammed just right. I doesn't look bent but must be. I know I have trouble opening it after a wash where it seems stuck and I am sure the previous...

That model has 2 hinges on the door, and one or both of the hinges are probably bent, not the door. The good news is that they are pretty cheap to buy the hinges, and it only involves 8 screws, its an easy fix. After you do that, if you still have problems with the door lock, then it probably got damaged from the door closing when it was bent, and you would need to replace either the door lock or the door strike if the strike on the door is broke. I have replaced many of these hinges for this problem, and havnt come across the door lock getting damaged in the process, but have had to replace a few broken door strikes. hope this helps, good luck.

We have a 1997 ford sport that the drivers door will not open from outside

The rod from your out side door handle may have gotten unclipped or the rod is still clipped but has been bent and needs to be re bent straight. When you pull on the door handle, the rod connected to it moves down and pushed a leaver on the door lock. If the leaver was bent, the travel distance is shortened and does not push the leaver on the door luck to release it from the striker. Your going to have to remove the door panel and get to the out side door handle from the inside of the door and see if the rod has become unclipped or has been bent so you need to straighten it so it will move the door luck release leaver enough to work properly. If it is bent you don't have to remove it from the door handle, you should have enough room to do it with your fingers. Just take you time and note make sure your window is rolled up and take the ignition keys out of the ignition. Don't need to be listening to the radio and losing a finger. Good luck and keep me posted, if there is a Auto Zone, buy some extra door panel fasteners and they will also have the step by step to removing the door panel if you not sure how to do it and it's free.

Door "catch" that hold door open bent, how do you fix/replace it?

You will have to remove the door panel. Leave the window in the up position. The door check is held to the door with 2- 10MM nuts (wrench size) and to the body with 2- 10 MM bolts (wrench size). Oce you have it unbolted, it will fall into the door. Remove from door and install new one in reverse order. Reinstall door panel.

Hope this is helpful!!!
