Your lower spray arm is probably clogged. The clog may be caused by grease or scum OR it could be from bits of debris that has not been flushed from the machine.
Generally, the lower spray arm is easily removed by unscrewing a nut or thumb screw on the top of the arm. The arm will lift off easily and you can flush it at your kitchen sink. I sometimes have to take a toothpick, a brush, and/or tweezers to remove bits of paper, bone, or peelings. You can also soak it in ammonia to cut the grease that may have built up inside it.
Then put it in place and rescrew the nut or screw. This should restore the water pressure.
I hope this helps. If it does, please come back to Fixya and rate my solution

Frigidaire Model FDB780RCB0 I am getting water in the machine but it seems the arms are not turning what can I do to get that fixed?

The pump in the dishwasher is supposed to provide enough water pressure to turn the spray arms and make them rotate. The pump is faulty and not giving enough pressure or the arms are stuck.
Try spinning the arms, if they rotate smoothly, you will need to replace the pump.

Finish Dishwashing tablet does not dissolve and our dishes do not come out clean. We have used a product to clean dishwasher, but to no avail.

Many dishwashing detergents need a water temperature of 140 degrees to dissolve. If your water is at the correct temperature, the only other suggestion I have is to make sure the detergent dispense is not blocked by large objects such as baking sheets, frying pans etc. If the dispenser cannot open fully, the detergent won't dissolve.
Also, you might want to check the sprayer arms. If they are clogged, they won't turn effectively. Sometimes debris will be pumped into the arms but the openings are too small to release the debris. You can remove the arms by removing the screw that hold them in place and then flush the arms with your sink sprayer. Then you can check the openings to see if there is any "crud" left in them. By crud, I mean small pieces of paper, bone fragments,
I hope one of these suggestions helps you. If it does, please rate my effectiveness. Thanks

Dishwasher won,t clean dishes ontop rack

Make sure the top rack is pushed back all the way to connect with upper sprayer arm water port. Also make sure nothing is preventing either sprayer arm from rotating and there is nothing blocking the sprayer arm holes, like seeds or pieces of plastic debris. Also make sure your water heater temp is hot enough.

Dishwasher comes on, fills with water, water heats, no movement of the arms so no water spraying out, then the water drains, it goes through the dry cycle and no clean dishes.

What is the manufacturer and model number of your dishwasher?
Depending on the model and design, the sprayer motor/pump has probably failed and the drain motor/pump is still working.
Recommend you pull the sprayer arm and filter. Look for debris that could be jamming the pump - watch out for broken glass when looking.
Make sure the impeller can spin and is not damaged.
If that does not fix the problem, replace the wash motor / pump or replace the entire dishwasher with an Energy Star qualified name brand model.
Good Luck!

We have taken apart the bottom of the dishwasher to be sure no food was clogging the exit. It is clear but the water still willnot drain

HI In most dishwashers, the water pump is located under the lower sprayer arm. This component pumps the water through the dishwasher. The pump has two impellers, top and bottom. These, as well as other components, can become clogged with food or detergent. Here's how to disassemble the pump:

Step 1: Remove the cap that holds the sprayer arm on.

Step 2: Remove the sprayer arm, the screen, the pump housing, a bolt, the upper impeller, the food disposer blade, a spacer plate, the impeller hood, a flat plate, an O-ring, and the lower impeller. Lay the parts out in order as you disassemble them so that you'll be able to reassemble them properly.

Step 3: Clean the parts thoroughly with a mild detergent solution. If any parts are worn, replace them with new ones made for the dishwasher.

Step 4: Replace any seals, such as the O-ring or other washers, with new ones.

Step 5: Reassemble the pump, keeping the parts in order.

To reach the water pump, remove the sprayer arm and screen and then the pump housing. Remove the bolt, and the pump components can be disassembled.

On some dishwashers, the lower impeller serves as a drain pump. This type of system usually has a reversible motor; machines with nonreversible motors have drain valves, as detailed previously. If your machine possesses this impeller pump system, and the water will not drain from the dishwasher, clean the lower pump impeller. This may solve the problem. Otherwise, call a professional service person.

Quiet Series 100

It sound like a pump issue. The dishwasher has a motor that attached to a pump which forces the water up into the sprayer arms and during the drain cycle, it pushes the water out of the dishwasher. The motor (and pump) located beneath the dishwasher. Check if pump spins when it should force the water up into the sprayer arms. In case it doesn't spin you should replace the pump. Good luck !
