These are the steps that you need to take, and the instructions on how to do it:
1. Reboot into Safemode
2. Run a virus and spyware scanner
3. Defrag
4. Scandisk
5. Registry error repairing
6.Reboot into regular mode windows

Here is how to do it:
Reboot yor machine while holding the F8 key right as it boots back up. A menu will apear. Choose -->"start windows in safe mode with networking".
Windows will start in safe mode. Run an AVG virus scan, then run Defrag by exploring your computer, right click on C: drive, click PROPERTIES, then the TOOLS tab, click the "check now" button, and only checkmark the top box 'fix file system errors', then click ok, the computer will then tell you it will scan upon next reboot., Now click the DEFRAG NOW button. the choose defrag. After Defrag runs for about an hour and it is finished, restart the system. If is still won't run normally, go back into Safemode buy pressing F8 on reboot, then run a registry fixing program such as uniblue registrybooster, then reboot again. If it still won't run right, you may want to reinstall Windows and see if that works.
PRINT THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND KEEP A COPY NEAR YOUR SYSTEM FOR FUTURE PROBLEMS. THIS SERIES OF STEPS CAN FIX MANY PROBLEMS
Good luck.
James.

Above error may occur due to insufficient hard disk space available for Windows XP. Make sure that you have sufficient hard disk space.
Computer BIOS might be incompatible with Windows XP or it might have to be updated.

Windows xp home edition computer will not start

If the system cannot start on safe mode probably your operating system has gone bad, to check your hard disk you can go use your windows xp disk, to boot from it press f12 choose cd rom keep on tapping enter and dont mind the message that you need to press any key to boot from cd, and then when you are on the welcome to setup page press r for recovery console, once you are there try to type in chkdsk /p and after type in fixboot and press y, and restart your system, if that wont work then your hard drive is bad.

Motorola wireless adapter, Blue Screen Of Death

1. Uninstall the drivers for the card.
1.5 Turn pc off.
2. Unplug the card.
2.5 Turn on pc. Make sure the pc does not detect the wireless adaptor.
3. Turn pc off again.
3.5 install adapter then turn pc back on.
4. When windows tells you it has found new hardware, click the option to specify your own location for the dirver, then point to the cd that came with the card.

If all this still does not fix it, the you know its the adapter and to take it back.

This same solution works for any new card added to a computer. I have seen this same problem with the old scuzzy cards at work.
