I have a commax intercom (dp - 2hp model). There are two wires connected from the bell outside to the connectors 1 & 2 on the unit inside and the bell is working. There are another two wires connected to...

you just said where everything goes, so what's the question?
connector 5 goes to your gat actuator, 6 is power for the unit, obviously there will be 2 wires for each for a complete circuit.

If it is an aftermarket radio check the fuse, it might be blown if it is the manufactures radio then its probably dead and needs replaced, i would also retrace the wires and make sure non are touching or have been cut somehow, once it happened to me and a wire piece was sticking threw the black tape touching a metal piece inside the dash, this is why its best not to use black tape, and also if you running a system you might just need a new radio i fired a Sony one year could never figure out why it went out took it to a shop they said the system was to much and over heated the radio...crazy.

Radio and inside lights not working

Check your grounding, prob have used illumination line as ground, when lights switched on it goes to 12 volts and if connected to radio ground fuse will pop. Ground radio to chassis and isolate the wire you have used, replace fuse (probably blown) and should fix your problem.

Stereo wiring codes

if you take a 9v battery, and touch it to the speaker wires, you can find out which wire goes to which speaker, OR you need only 3 wires ( memory, power, ground) to power the radio, then you should be able to figure out which are the speakers, or attach a speaker, and use fader and balance to figure out which channell that is on the radio

Car radio wont work

If you Have Display Lights. Then the Memory wire is Hooked up .But the Power wire is not. That is the Red Wire Hanging. It was going to the fuse box before it fell off .Use a Volt Meter (DC).Or a12 volt test light
You Want a Fuse that only has Power (12 Volts) When the Key is Turned on.Use a little connector to connect the wire to that fuse...That will do it..Good Luck

Tuning Radio

Sounds like it's wired up wrong. You need to refit the radio with the memory wire on a permanent live. Check that yellow and red wires aren't connected together, one is main power one is radio memory. Main power should go to the acc on you ignition and like I said the other goes to a permamnet live. The harness should look like this . . . . V
