Question about Cameras
OK ...I looked for a driver on the suport site but there isnt any ..so I guess it do not need one ..but just a manager to stream from ...
In your case if it do not see the device at all it means that the firewire port is not activated...so ...you have to restart and go to bios by pressing F2 and there look for the feature called optimal factory defaults ...activate it ...and than confirm ..and to save changes press F10..and when you confirm it will restart ...in this moment the port should be activated and you will be able to see the device in device manager ...
use a import from device feature...(probably will work into windows movie maker too ..I used it to stream from a vhs camera ..and I dont see why shouldn't work with a mini dv ..
or ..., just use any program you may have or came with the camer a..
