Please check the pins on the connector at both end of the VGA cable first. Post back, since it can be the video card or inside the monitor itself. Please post back for further help.

How to fix my Benq Monitor which is scrolling full screens of different colours.

all modern LCDs have ONE and ONE only native screen size. since you did not tell us the model number we have to tell you maybe you are setting the wrong size. if the monitor has worked before then you are sending it the wrong signal.

Ive just bought a new pc, and my LG screen only shows green and blue colours and no red.

Try a different monitor on your computer.
If RED is visible, your CRT monitor is ready to be responsibly recycled.
If not, then the video-card on your new PC is problematic.
Take the "new" PC back, and exercise your warranty to get it repaired/replaced.

Try your monitor on a different laptop/desktop computer.
If there is no RED, then your monitor is the problem.

Everything is green the screen the pictuers the letters etc.what`s wrong i have a windows vista /acer

If you have a desktop computer, try connecting a different monitor, to see if your monitor is not producing all three "primary" colours (Red/Green/Blue), thus resulting in "mostly-green" colouring.

If you have a laptop-computer, trying connecting an external monitor, to see if you get the correct colours on the external monitor.

Color output to screen lacking red

Hi,
You have ruled out the graphics chip by plugging an external monitor in, the chips fine.
Now you have to look at the inverter. Sometimes a cable will work itself loose from the inverter, causing the display to go wild and show strange colours where is should be white.
What you have to do is remove the screen bezel (the plastic screen surround) this reveal the screen, look at the bottom of the screen for a thin circuit board with cables coming from it and make sure the cables a plugged in properly.
If you need anymore help or advice please post back.

Good luck.

My acer X193w screen went blue and wont show red

I once had that problem, I think you need to make sure that the power supply cable is fitted well and your monitor receives enough power. if its shares the power cable with your CPU try and separate it then restart your computer.

Colour problems with projector

In short If the reds show as red, The greens show as green & Blue shows as blue. I would say thats as good as it can project. It's hard to judge color without seeing it for ones self but usually DLP projectors that use a colorwheel do not have perfect color.

Color Problem:

in Monitor CRT Red-Blue-green cathode guns are there.. Mixing of these colour we can get the original colour chrominace technique. if any of the colour gun is faulty we would get more REad or blue or green picture. Measure RGB voltages. you can verfify which gun is faulty. if then check RGB processing circuits. Else there might be problem Chrominance colour decoder system. Contact service centre
