Question about GE Dishwashers
It sounds like one of two possibilities here.
The most likely is a blockage somewhere between the drain pump and the drain in the house (under the sink).
Places to look for this would be an air gap or the fitting where the drain hose connects to the house plumbing. Take the drain hose from the dishwasher off of the house pipe under the sink, run that hose into a bucket and see how it drains then. If it is poor then follow back toward the dishwasher until you find the next junction or fitting. If you are sure all these are clear and still not draining, you will most likely need a new drain solenoid.

Tips for a great answer:
Thank you for your inquiry, friend!
I see that you need assistance in draining the remaining water out of your Frigidaire dishwasher. It is normal for a little water to remain inside of your dishwasher. If it is more than two or three inches it could be a draining issue. I would check to make sure the drain hose is not clogged or restricted. You should also review the filter, which you can find under the bottom rack, to make sure that it is not clogged. If you have reviewed these steps and water still remains it could be a possible issue with your drain pump. I recommend having a professional technician out to perform repairs because this will require you to uninstall and disassemble your dishwasher. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
