Looking through the eyepiece everything is dark. The lens cap is off but I can't see anything

First the picture in your post by FIXYA-- shows a reflector style telescope that is mount BACKWARDS! Notice that the eyepiece -focuser is on the DOWN end of the tube. The scope is pointing at the ground!

So if your scope looks like the picture -- turn it around and put the focuser on the UP end of the tube. Then take the scope outside during the day time. Put the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it into the focuser. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one. Practice focusing on a distant object during the day time; and read my tips on my profile page. DO NOT POINT the scope at the sun!! It will instantly blind you-- just point it at an object a good distance away and practice focusing.

Also read this page so you understand the different types of telescopes.

This scope does not have a manual anywhere on the internet. However if you can determine what type and style of telescope this is then you can download a free manual off the Meade scope web site-- they are all assembled and used in a similar fashion by type--

Look at these two web sites--

You will not find a manual for that scope. Sorry.

Try to locate a local Astronomy club and the members will help you with the scope.

There are some pictures and scope descriptions on this web site which may help you.

I need a manual for a Rokinon ST-60910 telescope (Rokinon 910 x 60 Refractor Telescope). I purchased it from overstock.com and it comes with no manual at all. It does come with the lamest CD made for a...

The manual WILL NOT show you how to find objects in the sky. Also which Rokinon do you own the number you gave is not enough information. See this web site:
http://www.pronto.com/user/search.do?displayQuery=rokinon%20telescope&SEM=true&query=rokinon%20telescope&adid=1257527498-7823004d-0_gs&ref=rokinon%20telescope&creativeid=3404631457&site=

More information needed and you will NOT find a specific assembly manual for that scope. However they all assemble in a similar fashion based on TYPE of telescope-- Refractor or Reflector.

Meade brand maintains a web site with all their manuals. Look under either the REFLECTOR or REFRACTOR header for one that is similar to your scope and download it for free.

Again the manuals DO NOT TELL YOU how to find objects in the sky. I would recommend that you buy these two books which will help you learn what you can see at night.

"Turn Left at Orion" and "Nightwatch". Both are available at any large bookstore or on Amazon.com.

Read my TIPS on my profile page, and read these two web sites to learn about the TYPES of telescopes and MOUNTS for telescopes.

Luminova 40114675 (675 x 114mm) Telescope: cant veiw anything out of it...

This is a REFLECTOR style telescope. The end with the focuser and the eyepiece is pointed UP. the mirror is on the bottom of the scope.

Take the scope outside during the daytime and practice focusing on a distant object using the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it.

The PICTURE shown above really makes me laugh. The scope is mounted BACKWARDS in the picture above, and is pointed toward the GROUND not the sky. Even FIXYA puts them on the mount backwards!

Look at this picture. See how the eyepiece and focuser are on the end pointed toward the sky. The MIRROR is the BOTTOM of the telescope:

https://www.highpointscientific.com/store/viewItem.asp?idProduct=385

I believe your scope is mounted backwards just like the picture FIXYA applied to your question!

Does this telescope need accesories for proper function

Do you have eyepieces? At least two? The bigger the number on the eyepiece the LOWER the magnification-- something around say-- 20mm and 10mm ??

Usually their is a small "finder" scope attached to the top of the main tube to use to help you center and find distant objects. ??

and of course a tripod to hold the telescope.

Look through this web site--
