Question about Toshiba M685 VHS VCR
I recorded a show on my vcr and the tape comes out in black and white. It is not the tape because I taped something in a different vcr and it came out in color. Do you know the solution to my problem? If so I would really appreciate it if you gave me some feedback
Is the vcr sitting directly on top of, or underneath the TV? If so, this could be causing magnetic/static interference, and that's not good. It's good practice not to have anything that uses tape near speakers or TV's. Hope this helps.
Another possibility is the signal you are recording is coming from a cable box/digital cable box/satellite cable box. Try recording using the RCA cable inputs and outputs, instead of 75 Ohm cable, if applicable.
