The Nintendo DSi does not support all websites however if it is the DSi and not the webpage giving you this error then contact Nintendo customer support.

I try to use the internet app on my DSi XL and it gives me an error code. this is the code: 051099 - 1. What should I do? Is there any way you can you help me?

This is most certainly a problem with your wireless router, not your DSi. There are only a couple possible thing that could be wrong in this situation.
1. Your router could be off or damaged. Make sure that you modem and router are on. If this, there is obviously nothing for your DSi to connect to. Make sure that no wires are split or broken.
2. If you connected to the wrong internet connection, such as your neighbors, then the connection might not reach. This could also give you a error.
A way to test if you internet is working, is to access the internet with a computer. If it works there then there is nothing wrong with the connection.
3. If your connection is clean but it is still not working, then you could be configuring your setting wrong. When configuring your connection, make sure that you are inputting the correct information.

If you have a DSi, you can use the DSi's built-in Internet setup. Go to Systems Settings and find Internet. Tap it. Go to Connection Settings, and tap Advanced Setup. Use connections 4, 5, and 6 to establish a setup using WPA settings, as well as WEP.
