Re: washer wil not drain, filter is clean, house drainage...
You still have something obstructing the water flow. On these GE's the drain pump is fairly audible pumping water or not if the pump motor is turning. If you here just a low hum, then there is some object jammed in the pump preventing the pump impeller from spinning, or the pump motor is bad. to check, you will have to remove the lower panel in the front, remove the hoses from the pump assembly, disconnect the wires to the pump, removes the 2 screws holding the pump to the base, remove the pump assembly from the washer, remove the 3 screws from the pump motor and separate the motor from the housing.
You will most likely find something was in there. If not, then there is something else further up in the bellows hose running down from the outer wash tub to the pump.
If you do find an obstruction in the pump and clear it, when you reassemble the pump, take care to position the pump motor
These pump motors are tough, and not prone to failure all that often. The usual cause of pump out failure is an obstruction.
If all else fails, the part number for the pump is WH23X10028.

A drainage problem causes "OE" to be displayed on the digital display panel. The drain hose is likely kinked, clogged or frozen. Inspect the hose and remove kinks. Unclog the hose, if needed. Replace the hose if the problem is not resolved. If the dishwasher still does not drain,
yes you have blocked the drainage system sorry i am not sure if there is a filter on this mach. disconnect mach and take the drain hose and try puttind it into a basin failing that carefully tilit machine back and disconnect the hose from the base of the mach to the pumpthis will allow mach to drain but you will still have to clean out the pump hope this helps .
If the washer is not draining then it is due to a clogged drain pump or a drain filter or a kinked drain hose. To resolve the issue you'll need to clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine, then remove the front kick panel and access the drain pump and filter, if you are unable to find the pump and filter remove the back panel as well and trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub. There is a drain filter connected with the drain pump. It usually gets clogged, and needs to be cleaned every 6-8 months or so. The drain filter is a small white filter connected to drain pump with a hose. If it still doesn't work then you'll need to check the connections of the drain pump, check the electrical connections with a multimeter. If it still doesn't work then you would need to replace the drain pump. Please revert for any further assistance. Hope this helps...

The major reason for this to happen is the clogging of
the drain pipe of the washing machine. If, even after you clean the
drainage hose, the problem persists, there may be other problems.
Next possibility could be that the drainage pump which drives the water
out of the drainage hose may be clogged! So, remove the drainage pump
and clean it. That should solve the problem. it might also be that the belt of the drainage
pump motor may have loosened. If this is the case, you have to simply
OE is actually DE - Drain Error. Pop open the little door on the bottom left of your washer, and unscrew the cap on the little tube on the left. ***Water will drain out!***
Once the water is out, unscrew the bigger tube on the right. This holds your drain filter. It is likely clogged, so clean it out and reinstall the filter and cap from the small hose.
Hopefully this fixes it!
hi unplug pull out machine if drain hose is at bottom of machine get bucket put hose in to it water will flow out when full raise hose water will stop repeat untill empty if hose is not at bottom tilt machine so counter top holds it get pot what ever wil fit under the drain fliter unscrew slowly not all the way to let out water once pot is full tigheten repeat untill water is out then open fliter clean look in make sure notthing is wraped around impeller if so take apart and put back same way
HI. this code represents a drainage problem. The drain hose may be bent or clogged with debris or, it may be a clogged drain filter as well. I recommend cleaning and straightening the drain hose and i would also clean the drain filter. this should fix the issues you are having with this washer.
Regardless of the brand dishwasher, they all have the same fundamental plumbing. so.. you need to check a few basic things first..
1. Have you cleaned the drain filter or screen?
2. Is the drain hose kinked or restricting water flow?
3. Is your dishwasher pump blocked internally or the hose entering or exiting it ?
4. Is the house drain ( meaning : where that hose drains water into) restricting water flow? ( back pressure or clogged?
Any one of these conditions will manifest itself as an undrained dishwasher.. Hope this gives you some things to check and you get your problem resolved...
