CONNECTING DYMO TO COMPUTER

Note: you don't say if it is a 300/400/450 series, but if it's a 300 series and the model is NOT listed in the compatible printers on that page then there is NO SOLUTION - your printer simply will not work with Windows 7 as Microsoft dropped support for the old USB chipset in this OS...
ps. there is a server problem at the moment so if you can't download 8.4 try 8.3 it will still work just fine.

Hi, most printers do need a software/driver in order to be recognized by your computer. If in case you don't have the driver yet, you may download it from this site:
http://www.labelvalue.com/dymo-software.php

Select the software/driver compatible to your computer's operating system (ex. windows 7, windows xp, Vista, etc.) Please save it first to your computer before running it.

You might try connecting the USB cable directly to one of the computer's USB ports.  My scale (DigiWeigh) showed as not connected when it was connected to a USB hub.  When it is connected directly to the computer, it shows the scale as connected.  Unfortunately, it still won't transfer weights to the Dymo Stamps software.
