Mitsubishi CS-35301 35 in. rear projection. can't switch inputs

Mitsubishi CS-35301 35 in. rear projection tv. When I press input to switch between TV/S-Video/etc., it will only swap between TV and S-Video. The TV has two sets of inputs in the back for Input 1 and Input 2, but pressing the input button won't access these. What do I have to do in order to use the inputs?

You need the original remote. there is 3 up/down buttons, one is volume, one is channel, the other is input. The input up/down will scroll through all the inputs. Some of these TV's don't have it on the front panel
