Grab your grease gun and start looking for zerk fittings you may have missed when you greased your machine last. You will probably find a few you didn't know about. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

My Howard Miller Grandfather floor clock 610-808 chimes constantly

Hello Shirley Haas,

Leave the weight fully extended (stop the clock)
and start checking your local area for clock-smith
that make house calls (run on hour strikes are much more common... but whatever you say... "CHIMES" the cause
is likely the same: Little or no maintenance).

These clocks need to be lubed and serviced and it is work
best left to the serious professionals.

You can probably get away with another 35 years...

Remember we have time on our side...

As for me...
I bought a junk clock to EXAMINE & fix (did)
I purchased synthetic clock oil (LIBERTY noted below)
and lubed ALL the obvious spots...
wiping excess away with Q-Tips.

Then I assaulted my own RIDGEWAY...
Got it running & regulated (was NOT my problem)...
My pendulum only needed to be centered correctly
(oh well).

I could NOT pull up YOUR 610-808 movement... but on the movements I have done you can see the hour strikes & the lever that triggers that motion (HOURS are each a spike on
the gear wheel... from one (^), 2 (^^) to 12 (^^^^^^^^^^^^)
progressively (pretty obvious if you are looking).

Go there... look... lube..!! Be gentle... VERY GENTLE...
or better ... call in a QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSON.

How to fit the mower deck belt on a ***** LT130?

The best way is to remove the deck from the mower. At this time you should grease the pulleys and spindles. there are four post that hold it. two on either side and one in the front. they are held by cotter pins. lower your deck level down makes it easier. you will have one engagement cable that just pops out it has a spring on it. then slide it out from the easiest side or pick the mower up and pull deck out . at this point it will be apparent where the belt goes and do your your other maintenance of cleaning and lube. factory says lube spindles every 8 hours of use. Then put it back under and re attach.

How to replace seat in jetta beepa walker

Contact Jett's beeper manufacturers customer enquiries, they should be able to tell you who your local spare parts distributors are. I have changed similar material seats before and they usually just clip into place on the underside of the frame. Its a simple job

The clock keeps good time, however the chimes will sound correctly for a time, then sound at 7 minutes after the appropriate time. Later it will correct itself.

The clock is trying to sound on the hour but the mechanism is not falling into place at the correct time. Sounds like the movement needs a good cleaning and lube. How long has it been since the movement was cleaned and lubed? If more than 5 years, it needs at least a good lube job.
