You need to look what ports your TV has and what ports your computer has.
If its a newer TV it will look better.
the Ports on a PC to connect it are VGA, HDMI, DVI and S-video
Now that you know what they look like look at your computer and look at your TV and see which ones you have in common. A adapter might be required.
Use the best one! From Best to Worst:
HDMI, DVI,VGA, S-video.
