Question about Kodak ESP 3 Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner
Turn off and unplug the printer. Let it sit for a LONG time--at least 20 min. Then, plug in and turn on to see if it resets itself. If not, make certain there are no obstructions in the path of the ink cradle, or in thr paper path. Finally, you may have a stuck microswitch that tells the printer the lid has been opened to change the cartridges. These switches are inside a rectangullar hole. Their actuators are often found on the edge of doors and covers. For actuators, just feel along the edges with your finger for fin-like protrusions. If there is a hole but the fin is broken off, the switch cannot activate.
