I want to install a new keyborad for dell inspiron 1420 to work as an individual one can anyone please tell me how?

First open up the sound properties icon on the taskbar and verify that nothing is muted. You can download and install the Audio Drivers for the Inspiron 1420 at the link below.

Follow this link to download the bluetooth driver for the Dell Inspiron 1420.

Click on the down arrow next to Network, find the Bluetooth Driver, and then click Download.

If the installation doesn't automatically start after downloading the file, then find where the file downloaded and double click it to run the installation.

It must be a Volume device drive problem,please try to update your volume device drive software,find your original dell Inspiron 1420 volume device driver software or download it from www.dell.com

how did you install the new operating system.was cd absoulouty clean no scrathes.did you formatt.did u create a new partiton did u remove old OS..Try reinstalling..is your systen compatable with vista.if not it wont work..there are things you can do.

driver is wrong.try to install sound card with original cd driver.

Your hard drive is bad. It will keep crashing until you replace it.

Check to make sure it is enabled in the BIOS.
