Question about Dell Dimension XPS 400 PC Desktop
My Dell XPS One is about 2 years old and is hardly used...It wont eject the cd that is in the drive. And when i checked the device manager...it said the drive is not recognized. What do i do!?
There is a small pinhole in the face of the dvd drive. Use a paperclip
to poke into the hole. It will force an eject of the dvd drive. You can
also explore the computer, right mouse click on the drive letter of the
dvd drive, choose "eject"....
If it still will not eject, unplug the ribbon cable from the drive but keep the power plugged in, then press the eject button. If worse comes to worse, four small screws, and you can remove the shell of the drive exposing the dvd inside....
