I have purchased a turntable with ez audio converter. I record one side of an album and it says recording complete. I click next and after a minute the software opens itunes and says converting temp1. Wait...

You can record the entire album, both sides without having to press next. When the entire album has been recorded then press next, you will a dialog box that allows you to name the album and songs. Make sure you have the most up to date software from the ION website- that is if you have an ION turntable. Go to ION website and locate your turntable- software will be on that page. Run it and it should correct any problems.

Problem with my ripped music

I clearly understand your problem.....the best way to sort it would be to create a new music folder...put all album folders separately in this new folder....rename songs in the respective albums folder and then sync this folder to your player....try with a couple of songs first...if it works you can change your entire library as mentioned above....a difficult job...but helps manage your music better..:)

I can't add new music folders to my sansa e260 because some go to

open windows media player and goto libary click on album artist. The sub folders will be named by the artists and the unknown songs will be in the sub that say's unknown. Click on unknown then right click on the title bar put a check next to artist and album artist. Right click song under artist or album artist or both and type in the name of the artist etc.... then syc with your sansa then load songs to it........

Uknown artist and title

For those of you that are taking music from old cd's youtube etc., this is how you can get around it. I learned how to make what you'd call pseudo-albums when I first got mine. Ok so if you're like me and don't have the money for rhapsody and you're taking old cd songs or getting them off youtube, then here's what you do. When you're connected, go to the WALKMAN symbol. When in there go to the MUSIC folder. Make sure that you don't have anything highlighted. Inside the MUSIC folder go to FILE. And in FILE go to NEW. Click on FOLDER. You shold have a new folder with New Folder highlighted in the name area.

Now, for instance you want the album "Herzeleid" from the group Rammstein just name the new folder that. Then put in all the songs from that album. My next recommendation is to put something like Rammstein-Herzelied-01-Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen? for the first song. So that when you go to you album-folder your songs will be in the order they are on the actual album.

This is the easy way.

The hard way is to go into the properties of each song you put on your Mp3.

When there go into summary. When in summary if it says Advanced>> on the big button click on it.

On this page you should see:
Music with
Album Title
Year, etc.

go in and click on the far right to see a text box. There you wanna type in the name of the artist etc. And if you want an album this way then go ahead and type in the albums name on the next one down and the track number and make sure that the Apply button is "popping out" You can make sure by clicking on another box and click the apply button and viola! New album. The only thing is I don't know how to get cover art on their it might be in the file transfer disk which i don't have with me but if you need more information go to my file.
