Question about Dell Inspiron 2200 Notebook
This could be caused by many things. First we have to know what is running when you are on line. There is an error log in Windows that can tell you what program is acting up. To get to the error log goto control panel. Goto administrative tools. Goto event viewer. Error will have red next to them. I use a website called pcpitstip.com to check performance on pcs. Here is the link: http://www.pcpitstop.com go there and run the tests. You will have to register to use the site. Follow the advice they give there. The way to stop programs from starting automattically is goto run. type in msconfig. goto startup. uncheck all except virus protection.
My best guess is you have programs running that are causing your on line to freeze. The fix is to shut down all programs that are not needed to get on line.
