Question about Creative Labs Zen Vision Digital Media Player
I have 3 zen devices a vision m 30gb,a vision m 60gb anda vision 30gb. All three devices are now not recognized by any of my 3 pcs (XP, Vista and Win7). When plugged in the PCs give the message USB not recognised error 43. In device manager they are shown against a USB port as device unknown. I do not have many restore points on any of my PCs (housekeeping progs clear them) and anyway, I do not know exactly when the problem started as I haven't transferred any media for quite some time.
I followed Creatives support suggestions (in their mails to me) and now the Vision is formatted, without firmware and still not recognised on any of the PCs. What has been changed by Microsoft that now means I have 3 devices I can't connect with. Is there an MTP driver or service that has been changed?
