Hi the best way of freeing up some memory is to go through your phone and delete the following
messages inbox
messages sent
messages draft
then go and delete any pictures you dont want.
what fills the memory up fast is having loads of music or ringtones stored on the phone so to free up some memory here delete all pictures you dont need or transfer them to your pc, then go through all the ringtones you dont use like the ones you got for free with the phone, most people delete all these as they use their own music as ringtones and never the ones they got for free with the phone so deleting these will free up loads of memory.

hopefully after doing all that you should have loads of free memory

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

After discarding all apps there is still no memory on the phone and Google Play will not work.

Apparently, there's apps that don't delete their data when you uninstall them. Maybe some card data, maybe some videos, etc.
The reason they do that is so that you don't lose data, just because you uninstalled the app (temporarily).

I'd find myself a proper file manager that can see all files, and can show you which directories contain the most data. (Think WinDirStat.)
Then see if you still need that stuff, maybe back it up to your PC, and delete it.

It's a common problem by the way. Caused by the software being way too much dumbed-down, and having crippled operating system installed. Hopefully things will get better with SailfishOS, and similar actually open and full-featured operating systems.

N73 phone memory problem

Hello friends....
u dun need to panic, here's a very simple solution!

The phone memory drops basically coz of LIFEBLOG DATABASE file. You need to have some Explorer Software to access this file. Either install X-plorer v1.22 or Y-explorer etc etc.
Then follow these steps:

1. Go to C:\Data\Lifeblog\Database
2. You will find a file lifeblog.db, it is because of this file whose size varies. Usually it stays around 1 mb but sometimes it goes upto 20mb + driving out whole of the Phone Memory.
3. Try deleting this file.
4. In case it gives a message that file cannot be deleted coz it is in use by some application, then go back to folder.
5. Rename the "DATABASE" folder to any other name. Now you will be able to delete "lifeblog.db" without any error msg. After deleting that, rename the folder back to DATABASE.

Here you go....ur problem is solved!

I wud like to have ur feedbacks!

Thanks
