When I click on my Email icon on l.h. side of the page, every day in my email I get over 25 RSS feeds which I have to manually delete individually. I do not wish to receive any more of these but don't know how to unsubscribe to these. Thank you.

I am having problems with sending emails from microsoft outlook. I have been told there is a setting in the router that will fix this. Can you send me step-by-step instructions on where to go?

in the router... kindly provide more details about your setup. otherwise, all i know is that in your outlook, you should have the following set. username, email address, incoming and outgoing servers and a correct password for your account.

My computer refuses to change a message in Outbox to Send, leaving me with a queue ofunsent messages. I can receive incoming clls, but not send any out returner@ntl

Make sure your SMTP (outgoing) server is set properly.
Are you on your own connection - or using a retail WiFi one?

Normally most WiFi servers reject outgoing mail.
You can GET mail - just not send any.
    SMTP is blocked.
    Pop3 (incoming) is allowed.

To check that the SMTP is set properly -

Open O/E, and navigate to the following screen....

Tools > Accounts > (Highlight the eMail account you are trying to send from).

    Then click Properties

    Click SERVERS tab.

    It should say...
    Outgoing Mail (SMTP): __________________________

In the blank it should say something like:
(check with your service provider for the correct SMTP setting)

Thanks for using FixYa - if you need further clarification on your question - please use the "continue with this user" option so we are connected in the future.

    Thank You!! :D

Confirm with your ISP the settings needed for Thunderbird, such as POP3 for incoming and outgoing mail along with your username to access your emails. If you are using Thunderbird to get Hotmail/Yahoo/Gmail emails then check with their support pages for further help.
