My HD PVR 101-ST has an error code: Er09 when i press th ''ok'' button it shows Er01 when i press ''ok'' it shows 00-- and after a while it shows ER09 again. If i pull the power cord it starts the same way. Do you hawe any solutions? The suport at Canal digital said that it maby could be the powersupply that don´t delivers the right voltage. But i don´t now it sounds strange to me.

Hi, just got the same problem.
In my case it started not working well 4 days ago. Today I got a message on the screen asking whether I wanted to upgrade the software. I did and now I have this problem.
In my case I would say that canal digital customer service is quite bad

    Hi, solved it by luck.

Turned it back on and pressed the menu on the remote repeated times. The system started

Once the system asked me again if I wanted to upgrade the software I said NO!!

How to set up new hard drive DTR 6400T free view recorder

Try this;
1. Turn off the unit for 15 minutes to cause a full reset.
2. Turn on the PVR with everything attached except the antenna input.
3. You will get an Er09 on the display. No output on the TV screen whatsoever (totally black screen).
4. Press 'OK' on the remote (confusing as there is no clue that this is what you should be doing, though Sagem support thought that the PVR should prompt you.
5. The box reboots in standby mode.

The hdd is formatted as it is needed, much like a Mac. It uses RAW not NTFS, FAT etc.

I need an english manual for my hd pvr 101 st

Most major manufacturers supply manuals online so if you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, you may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, Dealer Network for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

Shows ER07 ER09 ER 01 Scrolls through 01 etc. and eventually shows ER09 SAGEM Model DVR 6200T/6400T

I had a very similar problem. On initially starting up it showed Pb03 then would cycle between er07 er09, er01 and counting up 00,01 up to 19 or so.
Nothing I did fixed it including turning it off for a long period and back on without the aerial.

Eventually I fixed it by pulling out the power cable while it was counting up and then on powering back up it started to initialise correctly. No idea what the problem was and why this fixed it but it might be worth a go. It didn't involve losing any recordings.

Error code 09

Er00 - The software that was available for upgrading was of an older or of the same version as the one already in the digital-box.

Er01, Er02 -The upgrade failed. Some information was missed out.

Er03 - The internal memory is not large enough to receive the upgrade.

Er04 - The signal was disturbed during the upgrade.

Er05 - Wrong type of data was received during upgrade.

Er06 - Not used.

Er07 - Access problem in back-up memory (EEPROM).

Er08 - Access problem in video memory.

Er09 - Can not find any data to do an upgrade.

Er10 - Poor or no cable-TV signal.

Er11,12 - Not used.

Er13 - Unauthorised data signals received by the digital-box.

Er14 - Faulty data signals received by the digital-box.

Pb01 - A problem in the ROM memory is detected.

Pb02 - Memory size is too small.

Pb03 - A problem occurred during start up (initialisation

Pb04 - Internal communication failure.

PbF9 - Hardware error identified during start-up

From elsewhere on the web:
1. Turn off the unit for 15 minutes to cause a full reset.
2. Turn on the PVR with everything attached except the antenna input.
3. You will get an Er09 on the display. On my PVR there was no output on the TV screen whatsoever (totally black screen).
4. Press 'OK' on the remote (confusing as there is no clue that this is what you should be doing, though Sagem support thought that the PVR should prompt you.
5. The box reboots in standby mode."

Good Luck...
I also see some mention that if the above procedure doesn't work, try pressing "Menu" twice to see if that clears error 09.

I have the Onkyo 706 with remote RC-717M. My remote just suddenly started to malfunction. The volume up is turning it down and vice versa. The power button to shut the receiver off is doing the function...

Have you tried resetting the remote? According to the manual (page 101), press and hold the RECEIVER button, press the AUDIO button, wait approx 3 sec. until RECEIVER highlights and finally press RECEIVER again. Of course if you've programmed a remote control code for your PVR in the RC-717M, you'll have to do it again.

Sagem freeview not working - says error 09

Unplug the box, leave for a couple of minutes, remove the antenna, and plug the box back in.

The display will show 00--. this cmay take a couple of minutes so wait until the box shows ER09.

When this happens, Press the ok button.

The box will reboot, and a messege will say the download was succesful

The box should now work, and may need retuning. it will take some time and rescan and when it finishes, it will probabably ask for a resacn again, select ok and it should now do it again,

Mine toppled over yesterday and it is now all ok

Good luck!
