Check the setting on the TV and make sure you are not in the "progreesive scan" mode while using an interlaced signal. It can cause a distorted picture. Also, this switching unit is a component video switcher, it is high def and probably progressive scan signals, this is the likely cause of the rolling picture. See if the switching unit has a setting for progreesive scan and interlaced. One of the units, either the TV or the switching box is not set right.
Let me know if this helps, and do not rate it until there has been an opportunity to follow up. Thanks,
Dave
On the HT1000, there is an A, B, C toggle switch just under the On/OFF/Volume control knob.
When set to A, the radio is IN the scan mode.
When set to B it is NOT in the scan mode.
When switched to C, it is in the scan program mode. There is a green
button on the left side above the PTT switch. When you set it to C, you
switch the CHANNEL SELECT knob to the desired freq you want to add to
the scan list. When there, you push the green button. ONE push gives
you a red indicator light on the top of the radio. A 2nd push gives you
a GREEN light displayed. A 3rd push gives you NOTHING lit up.
The 1st push (RED light) means you have selected THIS freq as your PRIORITY channel of your scan list when scanning.
The 2nd push (GREEN light) means it is just IN the list, not as a priority channel.
NO light means it is NOT entered into the scan list.
Once you have your list set up, simply flip the A,B,C switch back up to A and you're scanning what you selected.
HOWEVER All of the above is dependent on whether or not the
ORIGINAL setup programming from the factory set the radio up for these
features to work. If it WASN'T set up that way, you'll have to have it
reprogrammed to activate the buttons and the toggle switch for those
features to work.
You could try this, Try Menu-Installation-Manual Scan-Down Frequency 000000- Network Scan Enable (change with R/L arrows on remote) Wait a moment press OK
First make sure your WLAN is switch on. Next go to network settings -> Infrastructure Mode -> New Connection -> Scan. It should scan all available connections and compile a list, you should see your home network here, click it and proceed.
hi claire this always works for me go back to factory settings in the menu press ok on factory settings this will wipe all channels . then it will give you an option to scan again , make sure you on the right provider [ e.g tw,ntl and so on ] then scan . once scan is complete save doing this will switch the key emu off make sure u switch it back on then hay presto thay should all be back thanks ANDYBOSSSHOT.........
Sounds like the lock-switch is in the locked position. This is on the bottom of the scanner. Move the lock-switch back and forth a few times and then leave it in the unlock posotion. Try scanning again.
If you are scanning a book, it may be too heavy and putting enough pressure on the scanner that it is preventing the scan head from moving fully. Try scanning with nothing on the glass to see if it does the same thing.
Release the scan head locking switch. The scan head locking switch is under the document glass. If the switch is locked ( ), the machine will not operate. Unlock the switch
