ViewSonic N3250W Television

Cuts off at random times (by 4 users)

While watching TV or DVDs the screen shuts off. The green power light is still on. You have to press the power button on the remote to take it completely off then on again. Then it works.

Television stays on about an hour, then pops and goes black. I have to leave powered off for at least an hour to get another hours worth of viewing.
ViewSonic wanted much more than the TV is worth to look at and would not promise to fix or replace. Add mailing charges on top of that.

Same problem. Video goes off after some use. Turning off (and perhaps letting it cool) allows more play time. Seems to happen more often on hot days. Seems to be temperature related.

Anyone have ideas on how to fix? This looks like a broad problem that Viewsonic should take notice and fix.

Mine shuts off after about 2 hours of viewing. Turning it on again gets even less time. Letting it sit (cool down?) for 10 minutes allows another 2 hrs.
