DISCONNECT THE VENT FROM THE BACK OF THE DRYER. THEN RUN A LOAD. IF THE LOAD TURNS OUT GOOD. THEN YOU HAVE A VENTING GOING OUTSIDE YOUR HOUSE. IF YOU KEEP USING THE DRYER HOOKED UP IT WILL BREAK AND STILL MIGHT BECAUSE OF THE STRESS ON THE THERMAL FUSE. YOU NEED TO CALL SOMEONE THAT SPECIALIZES IN DRY VENT CLEANING.

Frigidaire mod.#affu2067ew2. Gasket snug and clean. Exterior door is very cold alot of condensate. Gasket is dry but door is wet.

sounds most likely didn't get a good fill in the foaming machine the fills the door cavities wiht insulation. I've been in a refigerator plant and seen it happen. They are supposed to be checked. Tap various places around the outside of the door to see if there is a hollow sound. It could just be around the outside edges of the door unless the whole door is cold.

Mold on gasket of LG WM2016CW

the biggest problem with front loaders is that the seal is so good you end up with a moisture issue all the time (which will cause mold). My suggestion to you is always leave the door open when not in use and also try not to leave clothes in the machine after a cycle is over. leaving the door open and a few good cleanings will solve your problem

Mold build up around ribber gasket . Heavy, black and hard

Front load washers are notorious for developing mold/mildew to build up because they retain a lot of moisture in the round gasket the door closes into. Wash it down with a 50:50 soulution of bleach and water. You may have to use a brush on the "hard" stuff. Occasionally, run a quick load with no clothes and just bleach through a complete cycle in the washer. After a heavy day's washinh, leave the door open a little to help dry it ou.

Hard, unidentifiable substance in washer

with almost all front load washers you have to remember to run clean cycles due to moisture in unit and door constantly closed they get mold and mildew along with debris from washing it can leave very strange looking deposits on the front rubber area because it collects these things.Suggest running unit with bleach and no clothes several times to get rid of foreign matter inside and leave door open after to dry interior out overnite and one more bleach cycle in morning and should be good to go after.Refer to manual from this point how often to running clean cycle.

Clothes are drying slowly. Moisture is leaking

I also recently had the same kind of problem.

I took the front off the dryer, and the lint collector, past the screen, was FULL of lint, sand and dirt. Imagine balling up a large tshirt and stuffing it in there. That's how full!

I'd definately look at how to clean out the lint and exhaust lines as well as possible. That wet air has to be able to get out.

Moisture in dryer

you have a clogged vent, somehow your vent has become clogged either with in the hose, or where it exits the house, the moisture being removed from the wet clothes is not leaving the unit. CHECK YOUR VENTING POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD!!!!!

Does not dry clothes. I can run it for three hours before they get dry. The outside of the machine is very hot to the touch. Vent seems to open as I can feel the exhaust outside.

Although you may feel the exhaust, the airflow my not be sufficient to dry your clothes efficiently and costing alot of money on your utility bill. A hot machine is a good indicator that this is the case. Proper airflow across the heater is important to maintain heater efficiency. If airflow is poor, the heater will overheat and eventually fail. If the vent system goes through the roof, the vent screen is probably blocked. If the vent system is longer than 10ft, there is probably lint accumulated in the pipe. Check out this site http://www.linteater.com/.
Remember..the purpose of the dryer vent is to get rid of moisture. If the moisture can't be removed quickly....the clothes will take a long time to dry, no matter how much heat there is....
