The screen is not cracked. It was never dropped nor abused. It was just on my table and having it charged until I turned it on and nothing no the screen but the white lines.

Hello

that sounds like the screen is cracked / broken. And it would need to be replaced, if the new screen remains blank or white, then the issue is more complex and its either the connector on the phone or the mainboard has a fault.

Branches of a tree, those are black? very common cracks on the screen, after it has been hit, dropped or otherwise abused

white lines on the screen... Take out the battery, let it be for a minute or two, hold down the power button for 10 seconds or more to make sure there is no power in the phone remaining.

Put the battery back in and turn it on, if you are still getting white lines, then this is definitely a hardware problem.

Are you able to make a call or receive a call on the phone even thought its covered in white lines and no real picture?

you may have to enter the pin code first.

If you are able to receive calls or make calls that confirms that the issue would only be the display, replacing it with another might fix this issue unless its more complex than that.

are you in warranty? Please get in touch with local nokia care point / service facility or your dealer for repairs.

Outside of warranty, same thing, the fact is the device is too complex for us to repair at home, unless its just a screen that is broken.

Basically, there is noting we can do to repair the existing screen, we have to replace it as faulty. If that does not solve the issue then the problem could be the connector or the mainboard of the phone, which is too complex for us to repair, so you would have to replace it, which is not smart considering what it would cost you, unless you are in warranty, then you can get this repaired with minimal cost.

Large tree in backyard keeps growing over wires. sent question weeks ago about this and no response.

trees and power lines are your responsibility
you have to trim the branches back from the lines or pay the power company to do the job
If the tree is on private property overhanging power lines on the foot path, the utility company will trim back to fence line or further if the branches are still to close to the lines
you first course of action is to ring the power company and talk about what can be done or if the trees and power lines are all on your property, get in tree lopping specialist and pay to have the job down

Tatarian Maple leaves growing out of trunk, should I remove those branches or buches clear from the ground up as that is how they are growing?

G'day Patti, unless you want to look beyond the tree it would be advisable to leave the lower leaves and branches. The lower branches hide little critters from big critters. Cheers Greg.

I have a 15-20 ft. pine tree. We recently trimmed alot off the bottom of it and now the healthy branches on the tree are turning brown. Is my tree dying?

Pine trees seal themselves with sap fairly quick so you don't have to worry. If the needles are turning yellow and dropping it could be experiencing some shock or it may just be dropping needles for the fall.
If the needles are actually turning brown, check the trunk and branches for signs of boring insect damage such as hole with sap coming out.

Does pruning bottom branches on Magnolia tree do any harm?

Quick answer no. You must adhere to several rules. Correctly prune at the collar. Never prune when the branches are wet. Make sure tool blades are clean and this tree should be trimmed in the late winter.

My tree is about five or six inches tall and has three major braches that spread very wide compared to the height. one of the three major branches is getting longer than the other two. should I trim it?

This is an old post, but I didn't see any replys, so I decided to answer. Trees are pruned to help it obtain and maintain a desirable shape and to help it to make more branches and become fuller.

With that in mind, if you have one branch that is out of shape, by all means you can prune it. I would cut it just above a bud node. That takes the "vertical" growth away from that branch and forces the rest of that branch to grow "out" not "up" by making more lateral branches and become fuller.

Streaks like little roots or little tree branch on my pictures

is this not a problem with your lens rather than PC - best was to check is to take two separate BLACK (if white marks) or vice versa, pictures and see if the "tree" is on exactly the same place on all pictures
good luck.

Does the 'USB' branch of the tree show the USB ports?
Is there an 'Unknown Devices' branch of the tree?

Either way, the software "device-drivers" for the USB ports are not installed, or not installed correctly, and so you'll get the symptoms that you've observed -- power without device-recognition.

Access http://support.dell.com and click "Detect My Computer", and download and install the device-drivers for the USB ports.
