Hi,
The reason for this may be,
1. Too many wireless equipments were installed very close to one another which results in such conflicts.
2. Some hardware problem with your cordless phone itself.

Solution:
1. Install your phone and wireless internet device seperatly at some far distance. This should fix lot of problems arising due to frequency clash.

2. If still your problem persists then check your cordless phone for proper functioning after switching of all other wireless equipments in your home.

3. If there is any reset option present in your cordless phone, then use it to restore the factory settings as most of the time improper settings may create device malfunctioning.

I hope this is useful to you in resolving your problem.
If you need any other solution, please provide some more detailed information abt your problem.
Thanks

Hi i have a uniden ZO68 i want to add another hand set to this i have brought another uniden ZO68 second hand hand set and i can't set it up can you help me please

did you get the charging base with the hand set
is it a charging base or a base station base
if it is just a charging base , follow the instructions as how to get the base station to recognize the next phone
if it is a base station, probably won't work as you will have 2 base stations trying to work and that will create conflicts
talk with a telephone technician to see what can be done

Having problem connecting: handset out of range

This sounds like the handset has lost its "registration" with
the base. De-registering & re-registering is often easy.

First, be sure the handset battery is well charged as a
weak battery will interfere with the registration process.
Then try this ( 'works for the D1680, D1481, & similar):

To deregister the handset:

1. Press and hold the [END] and [ # ] keys at the same time,
after a few seconds the display will say
"System Reset, Deregister Handset"
press [SELECT]
scroll to "Base Unavailable"
press [SELECT] (chirps) press [END]
display reads "Place in base..."

Next, to re-register the handset:

2. Set the handset into the base cradle and wait,
within ~30 seconds the handset should display
a "Handset #" and be good to go...

Good luck!

4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears

HOW DO U CONNECT THE HANDSET TO THE BASE.ALREADY TRIED THE REGISTER BUTTON,DID NOT WORK.IT CAME WITH NO DIRECTIONS,WE BOUGHT AT A FLE MARKET FOR 5 DOLLARS.

Are you sure of the model number? The D1680 should register the handset when you put it on the base for 30 seconds. (You should see Handset Registering followed by Registration Complete.) Then press Talk/Flash to check for dial tone. On this model if the registration fails, charge the battery (or replace the battery and then charge that). Then repeat the registration.
The manual for the Uniden D1680 is available here: http://news.uniden.com/pdf/D1680om.pdf .

For other Uniden phones, like the DEC1060, you need to navigate through the handset menus to find the Handset Registration command. Then press and hold the Register Handset (Find Handset) key on the base for 3+ secondsThen the base and handset will synch. (Low batteries could interfere with the process.)

For the D3288, you access the base menu for Register Accy and then press and hold # on the handset for 30+ seconds. (You will see Registering followed by Registration Complete.)

Additional Uniden cordless phone manuals are available here: http://www.uniden.com/scat/cordlessphones_mnl .

I hope this helps.

(with a flea market phone, my first suggestion is to try a new battery for the handset. They only have a given number of recharge cycles and you do not know the history. However, sometimes the chargers do fail and a new battery will not work. In that case, the phone should be replaced. It isn't worth the cost of out-of-warranty repairs.)

Cordless phone conflict with wireless home computer router

It looks like it's been solved by purchasing a new 1.8GHz phone- the new one seems to be having no problems. The retailer shop man said they often hear of this type of problem and recommend the 1.8GHZ models -- wish they'd told us that before we bought the previous one!!!

UNIDEN EXP7900 NEW BATTERY CHARGED, GREEN STATUS LIGHT ON, BUT CANNOT GET A DIAL TONE. THIS WAS AFTER THE PHONE HAD BEEN UNPLUGED FOR ABOUT 3 DAYS.

I have a Uniden DECT 6.0, 2 handset phone. I charged the batteries twice for at least 15 hours. I usually unplug the base at night and plug it back in in the morning. Both the phones lose their charge overnight. My old Uniden phone never lost its charge. Is this because the new batteries are smaller than the old ones? Are the batteries bad? I bought this phone from Ebay who said this was a brand new phone, box never opened. Thank you.
