Ah another mitsi ! Please get me the error code by performing the error code operational check so that I can help you with your problem. To do this unplug the tv to reset the error code. Plug it back in and press and hold the Menu and Input/Device buttons for 5 seconds. You will see a series of blinks a short pause(about 1/2 second) and then another series of blinks The no of blinks before the pause is the 10's digit and the no of blinks after the pause is the units digit. For example if you see 2 blinks followed by 1 blink then the error codes is 21. Please get me the code so that we can determine what the problem is.

I know that its a CRT projection tv. And I did not say green light did I? Only one LED will flash during the operational check.

Ok.. and the timer light? What color is it blinking in for thats what you have posted in the main problem.

That definitely sounds like a power supply board issue. The clicking noise means that the protection circuitry are kicking in and causing the relays to turn off the set to prevent damage to the components. It is possible that one or more lines are over loaded due to a failed protector or a voltage regulator IC. Do you have any prior experience in handling electronics? I am asking coz the set holds potentially lethal voltages for several hours after its turned off and I would recommend risking your life and limb for it. I have a service manual for this model that I can give you but if and only if you can handle it.

    eagle338 Apr 25, 2010

Here is the service manual. Be careful though. Unplug the set before starting the repair. Discharge the voltages to make the job safer. Use a multimeter that can provide its own voltage to test the circuits so that you dont have to power up the tv to work on it.
Click here to download the service manual.

Hi,
Its pretty old model of Mitsubishi and I would recommend not to waste money on its repair as parts would be hardly available.
Thanks.

My canon ir 5180 blinks only d green light but d screen does not open

Start with the printer OFF:

1. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
2. release RESUME
3. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
4. Let green light blink until printer is done futzing

Select function with RESUME press POWER to execute:

presses - light color - function

0 - green - Pressing power button will turn off printer
1 - orange - Service Test Print
2 - green - EEPROM Information Print
3 - orange - Initialize EEprom data
4 - green - Reset Waste ink Counter
5 - orange - Mode to set Destination code
(1: Overseas, 2: Domestic)
6 - green - Refresh printhead (cleaning mode)

I assume the printhead is cleaning and you need to wait for it to finish cleaning. That could take over a minute and a half; I don't know what that delay is for your printer.

If that is not the issue, you may have to reset the printer. This may be possible as follows:
  1. Hold down HELP + OK button and unplug printer (could experiment with regular power-off, but I opted for brute force)
  2. Hold down HELP + OK button again as you plug the printer back in. Then power it on, if it doesn't power on automatically. Be Safe: keep holding the buttons until the printer turns itself off. (It took mine less than a minute.)
  3. Release the buttons and simply power it back on. (If you unplug it without powering it down, you may get an improper shutdown error message. If so, click OK on the printer.)
If you are looking at a blank computer screen after all of this, you might try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.

If this does not fix the problem, you better look into troubleshooting on the manufacturer's site for help for your particular printer.

Power supply in HP slimline s7310n

It sounds like the CPU is over heating. It probably has poor ventilation. Unplug the unit and open the side panel. Carefully vacuum all the dust inside. Be careful not to damage any electronics. You can use a small brush to loosen the dust before vacuuming. Good luck!

When you turn on power you hear a click and the green light turns on. Three seconds later you hear another click and the green light turns off.

MOST OF THESE SETS HAVE A SELF DIAGNOSTIC:

UNPLUG TV AND THEN PLUG BACK IN---TURN ON---GREEN POWER LIGHT COMES ONFOR A MOMENT AND GOES OFF.

PRESS AND HOLD "device"(input) and"menu" buttons on front of tv for at least 5 seconds and then release bothtogether.

Watch for power light to blink in a sequence:

1 blink-then 2 blinks-------no error

2 blink-then 1 blink-------X-ray protection

2 blink-then 2 blink-------SHORT PROTECTION*******

2 blink-then 3 blink---------deflection circuit problem

2 blink-then 4 blink---------vertical circuit problem

******2, then 2 is most common---usually means one of the fuses that protectthe Convergence IC or IC's is blown---set will detect no voltage to convergenceIC and shut down.

SET WILL REPEAT BLINK ERROR CODE UP TO 5 TIMES ANDTHEN TO GET IT TO REPEAT MORE YOUHAVE TO UNPLUG SET AND TRY TO TURN ON AGAIN.

IF IT IS 2 AND THEN 2---USUALLY
CONVERGENCE CIRCUIT PROBLEM

let me know what you find--hope that you find 2 blinks, a pause and twoblinks--this is the most common and easiest to fix.

Let me know what you find and I will assist you.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 HDTV that suddenly wont turn on. Just has a green blinking light when you hit the power button. Any ideas?

I found this on another website, most likely it is your power supply capacitors.
  1. Press the "reset" button and hold for 10 seconds .... Does TV turn on and blinking green light turn to solid green.

  2. Unplug the TV from it's power source for various times, ranging between 5 minutes and 24 hours..... Does blinking green light continue upon plugging in the TV.

  3. Disconnect ALL devices from the TV; DVD, Tuner, Cable Box, unplug the TV for various duration times .... Does blinking green light continues upon plugging in the TV.

  4. Press Power and Menu buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  5. Press Power and Display buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  6. Insure that no front panel buttons are inadvertently stuck in an "engaged" position.

Diagnosis: If none of the above test resolve the issue, then the failure lies in one of the following:

  1. DM Module Capacitors have FAILED.
  2. DM Module is defective.
  3. EEPROM Board failure
  4. Power Supply failure.
