Wait at least three minutes after the end of the cycle before attempting to unlock your Whirlpool washer. The door will not unlock until the motor speed equals 0 and 180 seconds have elapsed since the motor control unit received the "Stop" command. If the water in the washer is warmer than 122 degrees Fahrenheit or the water level is set higher than Wool, Delicate or Hand Wash, the washer must drain before the door latch will unlock 2 Hold down the "Control Lock" button on your Whirlpool washer for three seconds at the end of the washing cycle. Listen, and when you hear the unlatching sound, the door should open.3 If your Whirlpool washer did not unlock at the end of Step 1, press and hold the "End of Cycle" button for five seconds to manually reset your washing machine.4 Unplug your Whirlpool washer and leave it unplugged for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, plug your washer back in. The washer's programming should be reset and the door should open.5 Manually unlock the door of your Whirlpool washing machine. Make sure to unplug the appliance before completing the manual unlock. Use a screwdriver to remove the metal strip, called the toe panel, at the bottom of the washing machine. Once you've removed the toe panel, reach up inside the front panel of the washer and feel around for the door latch. Locate the tear-drop shaped tab at the bottom of the door latch and pull it gently. When you hear a click, the door should open.
Re: Kenmore Elite 417; error CLL SRV
We have well water and I think my error message and locked door were because the machine was trying to plump water and not getting any. I heard the error beeping and sent to check it out. There was another noise that didn't stop even after unplugging the washer, although the beeping did, which finally stopped after I turned off the water valves. Press and Hold the power button down to unlock the door and retry. If you still have trouble, call for service.
turn the dial to the off position. Hold down both the delayed start and spin select buttons and turn dial to the left one click (cold position). you should then here the door unlatch. let go of the buttons. you will see some other codes p 01, p 02. turn dial to off. it should work fine after this. it worked for me. this should be in the manual.
Door lock error code unplug the unit for 7 minutes if the error code does not clear you will have to replace the door lock assembly in the unit. If you have any further questions message me back. Note by unplugging the unit for 7 minutes an the unit not having power this causes the control to reset. I await your reply if you have any further questions.
The door locking mechanism has malfunctioned and/or is overheating. It is recommended that remove power from the appliance (unplug it) for 30 minutes and try again. If the problem persist, you will need to replace the door lock assembly.
turn dial to off. hold down both delayed start and spin select buttons and turn dial to the left one click, to the cold position. keep holding button until you here a click. let go of buttons and turn dial to off. Every thing should go back to normal. Just fixed mine and all is good.
It is saying there is a problem with your door Lock. when you close the door does it hold like it use too? try to open and close the door if it doesn't really close properly then you will just need a door latch. If the machine gives you an f11 code then its the main computer board that can also give your the door lock error. I would check the door first though.
TAKE 3 SCREWS OUT THAT HOLD THE BOTTOM FRONT PIECE REACH UP BEHIND AND ON THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM THERE IS A ROUND PLASTIC DOOHICKEY PULL IT DOWN ABOUT 1/2 AN INCH OR AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND IT WILL UNLOCK THE DOOR. I WOULD UNPLUG UNIT FIRST. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE F22 THING. MY JUNKER DOES THE SAME THING PERIODICALLY, I UNPLUG AND REPLUG IT TO CORRECT
