Yes it is loose in there on the plastic. The pressure from the other side holds it in place. You could install a small screw if you want to make sure it stays in place.

I have an Acer Extensa 5635. All the lights on the laptop work and i can hear the Windows sounds but the monitor doesn't show.. what do i do?

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
Power off your computer. Examine the bezel of your laptop, which is the perimeter surrounding the LCD display. There will be screws around the edges of the bezel, likely with screw covers on them, depending on your exact model. Pop off these screw covers using a knife tip, for example, and then remove all the bezel screws using a Phillips screwdriver. Put these screws in a safe place, such as a small plastic bag, because you will need them later.
      • 2
Remove the bezel from the display. Pop it off by isolating a corner and peeling it off from there. Be careful not to bend or warp the bezel in the process.

3 Disconnect the inverter cable. The inverter cable plugs into the inverter, which is located directly beside it. The inverter can be found beneath the bezel after it is removed, and directly below the center of the LCD display.
        • 4
Remove the remaining screws. These screws are located in the metal brackets on either side of the laptop screen. These metal brackets are only visible once the bezel is removed. There should be two screws on each bracket, but this varies by model. Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove these screws, and put them in safe place, such as your plastic bag.
        • 5
Pull the LCD display from the back plastic of the computer carefully, then remove the old display altogether. Slide the new display in and reconnect the inverter cable.
        • 6
Replace the screws into each metal bracket, making sure to hold the new LCD display in place. Then, put the bezel into place over the LCD display. Replace all the screws and make sure they are tightly screwed into the bezel. Power the Toshiba laptop back on and enjoy your newly fixed hardware. Save any documentation that shipped with your replacement LCD display for later perusal or warranty purposes.

      Replace fuel filter

      1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. For details regarding this procedure, please refer to Section 5 of this manual.
      2. If not done already, disconnect the negative battery cable.
      3. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
      4. Clean both fuel feed pipe connections and the surrounding areas at the in-line fuel filter with a clean rag to avoid possible contamination of the fuel system.
      5. Using a backup wrench, remove the fuel line fittings from the fuel filter.
      6. Either separate the quick-connect fittings or remove the fuel filter mounting screws, then slide the fuel filter out of the mounting bracket.
      7. Discard the fuel line O-rings and replace with new ones during installation.
      To install:
      1. Install new O-rings to the fuel line fittings.
      2. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter.
      3. Position the filter in the mounting bracket, in the same position it was during removal. Using a backup wrench, tighten the fuel lines to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm).
      4. Install the fuel filter mounting screws.
      5. Carefully lower the vehicle. Install or tighten the fuel filler cap.
      6. Connect the negative battery cable.
      7. Start the engine and check for leaks.

About my ram of p4m800-m7 rev 3.1 i have a 512mb ram already installed and i buy a new ram with a 1gb size and i would like to install it but my question is is it okay to put them together? my 512mb ram is...

The black rectangular chips on the side, or sides, of the ram module are DRAM chips. Dynamic Random Access Memory.

('Chip' is slang term to denote IC, or Integrated Circuit)

Each Dram chip is of a specific size, (or can be said as Amount)
There are manufacturers who make the Dram chips, and then the chips are used by the ram memory manufacturer.

Doesn't matter how the Dram chips are arranged. The ram memory manufacturer could put them all of one side, if they designed it that way.

1.Your motherboard will support, (Use), DDR at 333Mhz, or DDR at 400MegaHertz.
      (PC2700 and PC3200, respectively)

2.The ram memory module must use 2.5 Volts.
(JEDEC has set the voltage standard for DDR Sdram at 2.5 Volts, so no worries here. Only time to check this, is if you have some High performance ram, that may be set to use a higher voltage)

3.It must be Non-ECC ram, and Unbuffered.

4.Cas Latency should be 2.5 to 3.0 (Ram Timings)

      Short solution?

Computer off, and unplugged from power. TOUCH the metal frame of the computer case to relieve your body of Static.

Handle the ram 'sticks' by the body of the stick, and refrain from touching the gold plated contact pins, on the bottom.

If the 512MB stick is in SLOT 1, remove it. Install the 1GB stick in Slot 1. Make SURE it is seated!

(Slot 1, is the ram memory slot that is closest to the Processor. It is the first ram memory slot that the Processor reads)

Leave the computer case open. (Refrain from putting your hands in while the computer is plugged into power)

Plug the computer into power. Wait 30 seconds. Turn the computer on.

      Computer boots up? (Starts)
Unplug from power. Install the 512MB stick in Slot 2.
Plug into power, wait 30 seconds. Turn the computer on.
      Computer boots up?
      You're good to go.

1GB ram memory stick is in Slot 1, and the computer does not boot up?
Incompatible ram memory. Remove it. Reinstall the original 512MB stick in Slot 1.

I get a 3sec beep everytime the pc tries to boot from the hd, the actual hard drive is fine, we know this as we have connected to another pc, any suggestions ?

The beep code you are getting has nothing to do with your HDD, it is actually a fault with the ram chip(s) in your computer.

If you have 2 or more ram chips installed, take out all the ram and install the one by one. Doing this you can find out which ram chip is faulty. If you only have one chip installed, take it out and test in in another computer before buying a new chip.

This is how the ram module looks like in general:06931a6.jpg

      Hope this can help

      Kind regards

1999 Dodge Ram Sport, leak in the rear brake line. How do I replace that section of line? It seems to be attached by metal.

You would have to remove the line and buy a new one from the dealer or aftermarket. If the line has a hole in it you want to replace it the line should come off the metal bracket is held in place by a bolt.

Installed more ram and now can't find the hard drive

Pull out the new RAM chips and install the old one or ones and see if it boots ok. I had this same problem. This can also be caused by no using matched sets of RAM chips. In my case I added one and used the factory one as well, caused the same issue as you have.

Trying to instal extra ram in Aspire 9500 laptop

the ram slots are stacked. you have to remove the top one first, which can be done by pressing the buttons on the sides of the ram chip, and then it should pop towards you, then you can pull it upwards and out. from there, you can take out the other chip, if there is one, or you can start installing them. installing the new ram chips is just as easy as taking them out. first, line up the slots in the chip, then push it in as far as you can without breaking anything. then push it down so that you hear it clicks on both sides, and doesn't move. then do the same with the top ram chip. any problems, just ask
