Question about Televison & Video
If you cannot, adjust out the size of the screen, then perhaps your powersupply isn't outputting the correct voltages, or some component has altered in the with circuitry, there are a few components, that have an effect on the width, first of course we have the Width control circuitry itself, then we have the Scan circuitry, and the PSU, Also it may be a timing problem. You need to have look at the signal, to the drive, with your oscilloscope, and most likely you will find, a crushed down signal, i would suspect, possibly a low value, higher voltage, electrolytic capacitor, or perhaps even, a badly biased diode, that is causing loss of signal to the drive. or as said, the power rail, maybe slightly low, Also it maybe the actual IC, suppling the signal, again, it is probably low, usually, as said it is the screen voltage/current that will not allow the scan completely out to the edge, actually you should be able to get at least a 10% overscan, anyway. have you tried a reset, also are all the shields on?
