Click on start button go
to settings and printers and faxes. If your printer is available here
then your driver is installed if not then you will have to install it.
You said scanner. Click Start settings control panel and dbl click
scanners. If you see your scanner its ok if not you require drivers.
If you are getting problems in installing the driver then kindly do let me know the error it is generating. If you are unable to download the driver then kindly let me know the link from where you are downloading.

More information such as operating system (windows XP, Vista or Mac) can be helpful in troubleshooting. Also the brand and model information of your multi-function printer.
If you are using Windows, click "start" - "printers and faxes" new window will open, find your printer/copier, cee if the printer is set to "online". If not, right click on the printer icon and click on "set printer online".
