If teh fan is pulses also ..the issue is the power supply ...The actual transformer it has a side little board that transforms the regular alternative power into a continuous current...and when the capacitor is out ..even if the power is transformed..it is still alternates.. ..so ..there is where to look ...just measure the capacitor..and change it with one of the same name...if it is out ..

Hi,
Change/ reduce HDMI resolution in DAV-DZ810 so your tv can get proper video signal because it seems DAV-DZ810 is set on bit higher picture resolution and tv is unable to present that picture.
Thanks.

FAC-FC7 DVD player is locked and the Standby indicator flashes

I had the same problem and searched FIX and found a solution for a Phillips DVD player that worked on my Sony DAV-FC7 dvd player. Someone posted that they called their Phillips Tech Service and was told to (a) unplug the dvd unit from the wall and wait 20 seconds, then (b) press the standby+plug the unit back into the wall at the same time and hold for 10 seconds. I did this for my Sony DAV-FC7 which would not power on nor eject (just red light on). IT WORKED!! after doing these steps, my SONY powered on and the rented DVD ejected. The dvd palyer works again. Thanks fellow FIXYA "posters".

Flashing standby message.

Are any of the buttons not making a click feel when you press them like maybe one is stuck?? You didnt say if the same thing happen with the radio as did with the cd. If it is then a switch is stuck or bad or a problem with the switch matrix for the Microprocesor . Only way to trouble shoot this is I would use a scope and check all of the matrix {ie scann lines as well as input lines for distortion or noise and make sure when the buttons are pussed that they change and switch accordinly. If they dont then the processors bad. Good luck
