Question about Logitech Harmony 890 LCD Remote Control
If I try to input numbers for the channel it jumps ahead and puts numbers in. While typing in 150 it will put in 1500 or 1150. While trying to use the channel up or down it will jump more that one channel. I have reprogrammed the remote twice, It seems to fix it for a short time (1-2 days) and then its back to the same problem
Hi. This problem is caused because the 'repeat' setting on the device that you use to change channels (TV or cable box) is too high.
1. In the software, click 'Troubleshoot' next to the icon for the device that you change channels on.
2. Select '<device> responds to some commands either too many times or only occasionally' and click NEXT.
3. Decrease the setting by one (the default is usually 3).
4. Update your remote and test it.
