Is the orange flicker on the screen or on the button?

Does it always stay on or does it go off?

What kind of monitor is it? Flat screen LCD or CRT?

Hi I wonder if you can help me. I have the flatron L1918S monitor and it was working fine yesterday, however today when i turned on the pc, the monitor flashed the green light on and then goes into power...

When after power up the computer press num lock key if num lock led is flash on and off when you press num lock key then your cpu is working fine.But if it stay constant then open cpu cabinet cover then reconnect RAM memory and processor and it's fan pull cmos cell from motherboard for 10 minutes then reconnect it then check.Make sure motherboard is not ground with cabinet. If num lock led is on and off then when you power up the computer press F8 key 5 to 6 times so you can see safe mode and other menu then enter in "Enable vga mode" then go to display property ->settings change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok. then check. If everything are fine in cpu then your monitor need repairing. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Viewsonic VP2030b takes 5-10 minutes to start

Open the monitor, examine the circuit boards. Look for small components that look like small cans, these are capacitors. If you see any that look bulged on top, then your problem can probably be solved by replacing these. Check out the following sites;

I have a dell E156FPc LCD Monitor that won't power on. Not even an LED lights up. I've tried a known "good" power supply but still nothing. I opened it up and all of the caps appear to be good. I'm no pro...

The board, with the power buttons is most likly toast. If it's not the power supply, than it's either the board or completly shorted out. Good luck.

LED's blinking, no video

Your C5707 transistors in the monitor have failed. Suggest replacing all four with the Sanyo C5707 transistor. A common problem.
