Remove the supplies and clean the yellow printhead. For instructions on how to clean the printheads, click on this link: http://bit.ly/bCoz92. Just follow the instructions. If that doesn't help, might need replacement. If issue remains after printhead has been cleaned and the supply has been replaced, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance. Thanks.
HP Business Inkjet 1100 stops everytime after the first line stars to print. The power is one, the ink drop light is lit, the "yellow" indicator light also on, and the paper light all on. None of them blinking. We replaced the yellow cartridge with a brand new HP 11 yellow cartridge. Turned the printer off and on to reset. Printer comes on everything looks good till you try to print anything, even a on line word doc? Then it happens again, so we replaced the yellow again...same thing. We ever cleaned print heads, Any assistance would be welcomed?
Press the Go and Rotate Carousel buttons simultaneously. This will calibrate the printer. See if this works.
Otherwise....Remove all cartridges and drum. Switch off printer. Close the lid. Switch on printer and wait until any churning stops. Insert the drum and close the lid. Wait until any churning stops. Put in one cartridge at a time, closing the lid and wait till it stops churning each time. With the last cartridge put in, it will churning longer (calibrating). Try to print from your computer.
It could also be that the toner could actually have run out for the other colors.
