SOURCE: Canon i350 does not print all colors

You probably have to clean the print head itself, witch seems to be a common need. Just take the print head out and clean the outputs with a Q-tip and distillated water. If tha doesn't work, let it soak in about a 1/4 inch of distillated water for a day or two and it may unclug the openings. Good Luck.

SOURCE: cannot clean Canon i960

The print driver might not be sending the correct color profile for photo paper. Check that your selection of the paper type "sticks", that is, that it doesn't revert to plain paper when you click on the print button.
If the print dialog is not working properly, then please get in touch with Canon's tech support to resolve this.

SOURCE: Won't Print Quicken Checks- Canon MP620

Here is all I could find, as it is a compatiblity issue and not a repair issue. Hope this helps. You can also get on an online instant chat at www.hp.com and they may also have some answers for you.

HP has apparently released new printer drivers for some of their
> printers that will fix at least one print problem experienced by
> Quicken users.
> If you have an HP printer and are having problems printing from
> Quicken and you use 64 bit Vista, check this HP faq to see if there
> may be help for you.

P.S. It appears that the fix will apply to more printers than are named in
the faq; The way I understand it, if there is a version 12 driver available
for your printer model, you probably should get it.
Apparently the list of printers to which the fix applies will be updated at
some point.
Don't forget to rate this 4 stars before you log out. If I can be of any help let me know.

SOURCE: my canon mp620 won't print the black color.

I had the same problem, after replacing both black cartridges. I solved the issue by running the print head cleaner. Below is the link to the instructions.

SOURCE: my canon pixma mp620 won't print black ink but

Does printer have 2 black cartridges, 1 large 1 small? if so, the small black one and colors only takes care of the color print jobs and the large black one, the main black and white jobs. Make sure you don't have an empty large black cartridge.

Color error black

Probably not. CMY all combine to make black, if one ink tank is empty it wont print black. Try going into print settings and change to GREYSCALE only.

I replaced the blue ink cartridge and now all colors look blue.

You say all colours look blue? If this is true, does black look blue? If so then black is not printing at all so blue takes over. Did this machine print colours ok before you changed cyan? I would suspect that you are using compatable ink cartridges and they are suspect. check that all the cartridges are in the correct positions. Then run the cleaning cycle and see what happens. If the problem still persists then I would change the print head. The print head part number is QY6-0073-000.
Good luck

Canon Pixma MP620 problem. It prints with a thick white lines going horizontally, so that the texts are faded out and not legible.

You probably need to run maintenance on the printer.
On the LCD do the following: (1)Select Settings on the HOME screen, and press the OK button. (2) Select Maintenance, and press the OK button. (3) Select Nozzle check pattern, and press the OK button. (4) Select Yes, and press the OK button. The nozzle check pattern will be printed and two pattern confirmation screens appear on the LCD.
This will tell you if the nozzles are out of alignment or not.Regardless you should not run the deep cleaning on the print heads. From the LCD do the following and make sure you have several sheets of paper in the printer;
(1) Select Settings on the HOME screen, and press the OK button. (2) Select Maintenance, and press the OK button. (3) Select Deep cleaning, and press the OK button. (4) Select Yes, and press the OK button. The machine starts cleaning the Print Head deeply. Do not perform any other operations until the machine completes the deep cleaning of the Print Head. This takes about 1 minute 30 seconds. (5) Select Yes, and press the OK button. The nozzle check pattern will be printed. (6) Check the nozzle check pattern. See Examining the Nozzle Check Pattern. - If a particular color is not printed properly, replace the ink tank of that color. See Replacing an Ink Tank. - If the problem is not resolved, turn off the power and clean the Print Head deeply again after 24 hours. - If the problem is still not resolved, the Print Head may be damaged. All nozzles are fine except the yellow which does not print out at all in the test. I've cleaned and deep cleaned to no avail

Try flushing the yellow channel with cleaner with syringe. The cleaning function will not dislodge a blockage if it is severe. You will have to recharge the channel with yellow afterwards. You can probably do this with a refill kit.

U130 ink message on pixma mp620

Very simple solution: When the pixma mp620 screen shows error U130, Hold down the stop (red triangle) key for about 7 - 10 seconds. This overrides/turns off the ink monitoring function. The printer will begin "thinking" for a bit and then start printing. Note: you may have to do this seperately for each color. You'll also notice that when the lid is open and the cartridges are in position for changing, the cartridges that used to be "out" are no longer flashing red, nor a stead red. They are dark.
