Question about Syntax LT30HV 30 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
Sounds like you have the inevitable backlight inverter/t-con board failure. Turn on the set and darken the room
1) See if you notice a dull glow on the screen If you see a glow then the backlight inverter is functional and t-con board, also known as video driver board is dead
2)If there is no glow then take a torch light. Flash it on the screen from a close distance such that the light travels down the screen Try it from different angles and see if you notice a dull picture. If you see the picture then the t-con board is functional but the backlight inverter board is dead.
