Question about Dell Inspiron 1100 Notebook
Try taking out the CD/DVD ROM out along with the battery. Then try to reboot. If it still does the same thing, unplug laptop turn it upside down and remove the small backing where the RAM is located. Take one out and plug in and start. If it starts that's great, but now do the other RAM card. If it doesn't start now you know it's a bad RAM card. But if that works it could be that one needed to be re seated.
