Question about Philips 37PF7320A 37 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
Display is not rolling but shows multiple images of the same picture at a very unstable rate.
My Philips tv (model # 37pf7320a/37b) has a picture similar to a bad Vertical hold. The tv was on when it started. I had left the room for about ten minutes and came back to the bad picture. It does this on all sources. It even does it on the menu screen. I've tried turning it off and on, unplugging it and waiting, and resetting the tv to factory settings via the menu. Apparently, its done this before, but it fixed itself after a couple of days. We just cut it on and off every now and then and one day it was working fine until now. I'm looking to find out exactly how to get the picture back to normal without waiting on it to right itself.
here is a video of it: http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h304/reyno626/?action=view¤t=TVproblem.flv

There may be a failure occuring in the sync section for the video and scan processing. The fault is probably thermo sensitive by the way you are describing it.
The service tech will determine the board with the fault, and replace the board.
